Okay, she's OFFICIALLY back in my book!

I'm thinking it would be in place of, as she already has a regular greatest hits album. But again, I really don't think the revision rumor is true. There would have been more hype about it by now.blackcauldron85 wrote:1. Would that Revised Greatest Hits CD be in place of the normal Greatest Hits CD mentioned in this thread? Or in addition to? I would actually prefer the Revised one- I think, more than any other artist, Britney does the best with reinventing her songs (like at awards shows and whatnot, when she performs new mixes of songs).

I'm THRILLED to hear this, especially since I'll be attending the show on the 26th. But to be honest, I think I'd rather it be an HBO special or something along those lines. The whole 3-D movie thing seems a bit childish to me.PerezHilton.com wrote:Attention Britney Fans
Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Britney Spears will be doing something quite special at her upcoming Las Vegas concerts on September 26th and 27th at Mandalay Bay.
No, she won't be singing live the whole show. BUT, she will be filming those performances and insiders tell us that the shoot will most likely be in 3-D.
How very Miley Cyrus of her!
Details on the release - whether it will be in theaters or some other option - are still being worked out.

Either way, I'm not complaining. As long as they're filming the show, I'm happy!
So it will in fact be 30 discs in a box (the 29 CDs plus the one DVD)? I love that idea, but something tells me it's gonna be really expensive.blackcauldron85 wrote:more info:

According to a release posted on BritneySpears.com, The Singles Collection will be available for purchase as a standard set and a packaged box set. The standard set will include 17 of her biggest hits. The ultimate fan box set will contain all 29 of Spears' singles individually packaged in slip sleeves with their original artwork and B-sides or remixes. The box set will also include a DVD with all of Brit's videos from past to present and a photo booklet with various photos spanning her career.
And apparently the single is indeed called "3". I don't know how I feel about all the singles being individual CDs in the box set. I mean, that's instead of a normal CD? I mean, yay for B-sides, though, so maybe it would be worth it. And the DVD would definitely be worth it.
Also on Wiki, it says that a song called "It's All In The Game" will be a Japanese bonus track.jrboy wrote:Japanese The Singles Collection Tracklist
