Colors and layout make it look like a sequel/spin-off of The Wild:

I think Shakira's character will be more important than we all thought. I think she might be the villain of the movie.

I'm shuddering just about the thought of "The Wild". Although I haven't been wild about this project, let's hope that it's at least better than "The Wild" and "Chicken Little".

I really can't believe its been ten years since Chicken Little was released. Time really does fly. It seems like only yesterday when I watched on DVD at my middle school's after school care.

I think even Disney forgets they released The Wild. Both that and Valiant are such obvious products of a time when Michael Eisner was desperately trying to find a replacement for Pixar after their brief break-up.

^Funny you mentioned Valiant. A while ago, I saw a "Disney on Verizon" commercial and they said PIXAR's Valiant :face palm: How does Dinosaurs count as a WDAS film while the other 2 don't?

Who thinks this could be the next Robin Hood?

Sighs. Time really flies. I was 21 when the movie was released. Ironically, I was grown tired of Disney, but I rediscovered the 90's films and fell in love with Disney once again.

True. Remember that it's not long ago that "Dinosaur" was added in the official canon list of Disney.

It rather be "Robin Hood" than others.

Surprised that Shakira's character doesn't look like her, haha.

Director Byron Howard confirmed that Nick and Judy won't be romantically involved. They'll just become good friends. It sounds like the relationship between Bolt and Mittens.

I wonder if it's considered taboo to depict inter-species romance in animation nowadays. Disney had some in their films but not a lot.

Jessica Rabbit / Roger Rabbit
Elisa Maza / Goliath
Chicken Little / Abby Mallard
Foxy Loxy / Runt of the Litter
Belle / Beast (debatable)
Nita / Kenai (debatable)

DreamWorks has done it on a couple of occasions, too. Donkey and Dragon in the Shrek movies. Kung Fu Panda 2 hinted at one between Po and Tigress. The hippo and giraffe in Madagascar. And then there's the weirdest one of all between Barry and Vanessa in Bee Movie.

Some book covers from Zootopia have appeared on Amazon and other book publishers' websites.

It looks like the little animal in an elephant costume will be an important character in the film.

And let's not forget Dr. Doppler and Captain Amelia.

Zootopia, the picture being made inside the facility, is all but wrapped up. Animation on the last lap, along with finaling and lighting.
