Actually, "do not double" has a different meaning entirely, it's basically telling the store not to double the value of the coupon (in this case from $10 to $20). If you're wondering why this is even a possibility, some stores offer special "double coupon days," doubling the value of coupons brought in within a certain range (most places typically won't double any coupons worth over $2 regardless).

I don't think it should be a problem, seeing you have two separate sets to buy and a coupon for each of them. What stores typically get uptight about is trying to apply more than one coupon per item.

However, there is the possibility that printing two coupons from the same DMR account could be an issue; I'm not sure of this but if you're only allowed one coupon from them it may have some unique code that will cancel out a second attempt for use. Does anyone else have any info on this? If each coupon is printed from separate accounts I don't see this being an issue at all.

To further clarify the whole coupon doubling thing, technically the store's registers can double a coupon if the UPC starts with a 5 regardless of whether the coupon states it can't be doubled (the Beauty and the Beast coupon is like this actually). The "do not double" is a warning to the store that the manufacturer will only pay back the face value plus the [typical] eight cents; if they choose to double it the store is out that portion of the money. Any coupon that starts with a 9 in the UPC code cannot be doubled through the register regardless.

No problem, hope it all goes smoothly for you! :)

I was thinking about hitting Walmart tonight but I don't think I can last another hour and a half. I'll probably hit it first thing in the morning though. :D

I'm hoping for the 24.96 price too, but I'm thinking it'll be more like 29.96. I'm going to Walmart tonight to get this when it's first released. I'll post what my local store sold it for. I'm not sure if all Walmarts have the same prices or not.
It was 24.96 at my Walmart, and 14.96 with the coupon. That's a deal!

BTW, it looks AMAZING in Blu!!! I seriously cannot wait for FANTASIA!!! ;o)

19.96 at my Wal-Mart. I used my $10 coupon so $9.96! best deal so far for a new release.

How long does Wal-Mart keep release day prices? The quickest I can go in is this Friday, and I'd like to buy it there.

The two of you could each go through the checkout line separaretly, almost as if you didn't know one another ;) lol. Not sure if your Mom wanted to put both purchases on her credit card though, as you would both have to pay separaretly. One of you (or both) could pay with cash.

I'm going to Toys R' Us at 4:30 PM EST after work today, I hope they aren't sold out :( Anyone ever experienced a title being sold out on release day? I hope they got a big initial shipment!

My Toys R Us hardly ever has anything in stock. So it's likely I won't get my copy there today. Here's hoping for under $10 (after coupon) at Wal mart.

Does Toys R' Us have their movies out on the shelves or are they locked away so that you have to request assistance?

I haven't bought a movie from them before and haven't even been in the store for a few years. I know they used to have their video games out on the shelves, but since a lot of stores are now locking things up I wasn't sure.

...and no I am not planning on stealing one, lol!

They're out on the shelves (at least they were the last time I went there for the Ponyo Blu-ray). They have a super tiny selection though. And not just Blu-rays, either. They have maybe one short aisle of DVDs/Blu-rays (unlike Wal-Mart or Target that have multiple aisles dedicated to each formats).

You cannot purchase the movie twice in the same transaction. If you read on top of the coupon it says "Do Not Double" meaning, one coupon for the same title per transaction.

HOWEVER, you can come back later during the day and purchase it again. Bring someone with you to purchase one for you at the same time. Or simply get it at another store. There are ways around it. :)
go to your car with your first purchase, then come back in and get in another check out lane with the second copy and coupon

I was at WalMart last night, but it was not quite midnight yet so I didn't bother looking for it. I will probably head over there today. My husband used to work at Blockbuster and sometimes people would pre-order stuff and get it cheaper and/or with a bonus item. And for many items he could apply his discount, but maybe not pre-orders. I don't know. I'm curious if they offered anything good for Beauty and the Beast. Their website shows it for a whopping $30 yuck.

For a second I thought Tangled was a hair care line lol I googled the special and saw this

Okay this price matching is going a bit hardcore here lol

When I went to buy the Toy Story blu-rays the day they were released, several of our Toys R Us stores had empty shelves and informed me that they didn't get their shipments in. I later found out that shipments had indeed come in, but they were afraid they hadn't gotten enough and were hiding them behind the service desk exclusively for those that preordered! :o

So I saw a poster at my Wal Mart for the free Tangled movie ticket and purchased my blu-ray. When I got home though I didn't notice any mention of it on the packaging anywhere. Should I be concerned? I'd hate to open it and it not have anything and it turn out that this one Wal mart didn't get them and I opened it and can no longer return it. Anyone ? Thanx!

Check out that link I posted a couple posts up. I got the impression it was supposed to look like that (shown on the front) but I don't know. You could call and ask for electronics and then ask the worker to tell you if the ones on the shelf all look the same or if any have the Tangled thing on the cover. If none of them have it on the cover I would be concerned. If some do and some don't I would want to swap it to be on the safe side. Good luck, hope you get the right thing.

edit: upon further inspection of link, it almost looks like she cut that Tangled thing out of a sales paper. I can't tell if she just threw that on there for the photo or what. Maybe you could contact that blogger.

Thanks for that link, the blogger said Walmart priced matched the Toys R' Us price. Does anyone know if all Walmarts do that? I can see me skipping Toys R Us and going to Walmart, only to find out they won't do it. :(

I have my coupon and the Toys R' Us ad, as he/she stated.

My guess is that if they do it for one item, they probably have a general price match policy, which may or may not have exclusions. It can't hurt to call before you waste your time driving.

I tried to see if KMart has the blu ray movie and couldn't even find it on their site. I thought everyone would have it. I haven't been to KMart in years, but we just moved semi close to one.
