Yeah, Mr. Toad thinks it is the best animated film ever. I cannot understand how he comes to this conclusion. It is just so absurd. Who else wants to join me next round in a massacre of The Iron Giant, so Mr. Toad can pay!?chaychay102royal wrote:I know it's true that we all have our own opinions, but I think The Iron Giant looked terrible. And it's not even a Disney movie...I seriously thought that most people here would make a Disney movie win! But you guys like it, so that's okay. I'm just saying...The Iron Giant???

The music by Pete Townsend and John Lee Hooker is fantastic. Adapted from a great book. A great story of friendship. Come on who is with me? Lets take it till the end.

Sure I'll want anything to win as long if it isn't Prince of Egypt or Finding Nemo. But Mr. Toad you lied! You said Iron Giant wasn't your favorite!Mr. Toad wrote:The music by Pete Townsend and John Lee Hooker is fantastic. Adapted from a great book. A great story of friendship. Come on who is with me? Because it's not Disney. I really feel that if we're playing a game on a forum designed for Disney lovers, something Disney should normally win. Oscar Nominated Films are an exception, though. I support getting rid of Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast early in the game.boss wrote:Finding Nemo

Come on, you guys! You're fighting over Nemo and Dumbo, when we should be getting rid of these silly anime flicks!
No offence to you chaychay102royal but if have not seen any anime or Tortoro for that matter, how could you say it's silly???![]()
At least when I say Pocacrapus blows chunks!,... it's because I had to endure watching it once lol.![]()
Anyway does anyone playing want to help get rid of pocahantis next round?, because anyone can see it has already won this game.then at least one of disneys best, MULAN might have a chance to win.

I don't even know when that was.Mr. Toad wrote:In case you havent noticed I have been lying since Live Action Surivor Part 1.
I guess I'm okay with the lies and the confusion (after all, that plays a major role in the television show), as long as you don't teach it to your daughter. I want to be a schoolteacher when I get out of school/college, and one of my worst nightmares is "Daddy lies/steals/cheats all the time, so why can't I?"

Well I am a Disney fan and I don't get it?, eg; Spirited Away is a Disney/ghibli film, Only Disney has the ONLY/COMPLEAT rights to these films in N/A now, it's got Disney logos all over it and it is more "Disney" than other films still on the list. John Lasseter, prez of pixar/disney (and other high ups) even personaly worked on the film and pile of other Disney people, Rick Dempsey, Ned Lott, Petra Bach worked on others. Disney even pays the big bucks to get big name actors to do the voice overs in them. It even is an academy award winner for Disney.="chaychay102royal Because it's not Disney. You already voted once in this thread. Please, no cheating.Alan wrote:Who'd want to join me in a massacre of the absurd film called Prince of Egypt
And the film is not absurd. May be a bit mature for the public, who's regular to Shrek flicks, but definetly not absurd.

If we're trying to keep the movies that Walt loved then where is Snow White or Pinnochio or most of the ones that he actually had a hand in creating?boss wrote:Well I am a Disney fan and I don't get it?, eg; Spirited Away is a Disney/ghibli film, Only Disney has the ONLY/COMPLEAT rights to these films in N/A now, it's got Disney logos all over it and it is more "Disney" than other films still on the list. for killing Disney films
It is well known that when Walt Disney himself was still alive that he wanted to bring/get these films to north america under the Disney banner because he loved them so dearly, just remember when you vote off Disney/ghibli films... you are also voting against poor Mr Walt Disney himself and the disney/ghibli films he loved
...shame, shame
And, okay, they may have Disney logos on them--Walt may have even liked them--but they're still anime.

ChayChay - those movies are not here because they are too obvious. My goal from day one was have a list of good movies at the end from a bunch of different studios and eras. Although this isnt the list I was after, I think the general goal was accomplished.
