Disneydood wrote:The whole thing is so corporate and sterile, it's not like the Disney Store of yesteryear that sold complete sticker book collections (you guys know what I'm talking about ;) and Disney Villains hardcover books; now it's all hannah montana crap and Disney Channel junk. It's barely the same brand, but they throw mouse ears in and call it a Disney store.
Complete sticker book collections? It's more fun collecting a set of stickers over a long period of time and eventually completing a album specially made for that set.

I wish I could have visited a Disney store of yesteryear. :(

So I'm not all that impressed with this new Disney Store they just opened here in San Diego..... I don't see what all the hype is about. They just changed their color scheme.

Hey guys I'm visiting the States soon (Boston/New Orleans), unfortunately I won't be able to go to Disney world and see the new expansion as I had hoped.

I really wanna get some stuff out of the Haunted Mansion/ Be our Guest product line, does anybody know if they sell them in the regular disney stores or is online my only option?

Thanks guys

While they may have the haunted mansion ear hat ornament at some Disney stores, the vast majority, if not all of them outside of the parks, aren't likely to have any other merchandise you mentioned. Best bet is to order online.

I just come from checking the online site and it is very sad that they have so little variety but on top of everything how lazy and generic they´ve become.

Since I´ve been watching all Pixar´s movies in the past days I decided to look for merchandise on them.

Well, I made a search for Ratatouille, Wall E and Up and they have the same stuff for all 3. Just shirts and mugs to personalize.

So very sad.

That's really neat although hopefully the products will be better than the Disney ones at JC Penny's.

uh ok well I'm a Target junkie and Ive got a couple stores near me, but Im worried if this is successful they'll be encouraged to open more of these and close more of the actual Disney Stores. Anyway for now there aren't any of these opening near me.

I have a friend who works at a Disney Store....I hope her job stays safe. :( While I'm happy the article says more merch will be available on Shop Disney, it's sad that more people will be losing jobs. :(
