As the movie comes closer, and I see more and more merchandise, and food-related promotion, I get more and more excited. I just picked up some darkside M&M's yesterday.

You know it! This looks to be everything we've been waiting for, its gonna rock! Not to mention that its rated PG-13, that's something I thought would never happen but its cool.

Did anyone see the exclusive game trailer for this?
I *think* it was on eXtra, but I'm not sure.
They say when this comes out, you can get a bigger preview of the movie.
or something like that. :)

And all this time, I thought that Lucas would do anything for a PG, I guess he's joined the Darkside with all his fans 8) .

That's my question too. Netty tells me he thinks it is. If so, I may be in London when it's released and will have to see it there, hopefully on opening night. I saw the first two prequels on opening night, and I think I saw the rerelease of the original trilogy on their opening nights too (at least I'll claim that I did :P).

I'm getting very excited for this, and even more excited all the time. And just when I need a little excitement boost, Maerj delivers!!

They are trying to open it worldwide on the same day in each country. They are in talks right now with the major theater chain in China about getting the film in there on May 19th. If you are going to be in London for sure, you may want to try to pre-order tickets now. They are selling out here in the US already:

I've been avoiding plot details, to ensure maximum enjoyment, but I have glanced at a few photos and I know this is going to be amazing.

I'll be visiting Indianapolis Thursday for the Celebration III convention, which is going to be insane! The last one had over 30,000 people and this one is expected to have many more than that. The best part is Lucas himself will be there on Saturday morning, only the second time he's ever done a public appearance at a convention. So, this is the culmination of several life goals for me... seeing George in person, seeing the final SW film... plus I am working on getting my parents to go to WDW for the SW Weekends. I've always wanted to go with them to WDW as a family, they promised while me and my siblings were growing up many times, but it never happened. I've been there several times now and took mom once, but this time I am hoping to take them both. After May, most of my life goals will be complete! What then? Who cares!!! As of midnight tonight there is only one month until Episode III!!!!!

Where I live we are really lucky, because on Wednesday, May 18th, they have sold out a special showing of the Director's Cut of Star War I, and Star Wars II, and will screen the first showing of Star Wars III at 12:05 a.m. on May 19th. The tickets for this event sold out in less than an hour and were $50 each. A 25-item buffet dinner is included at 11:30 pm.

Can't wait to see how different the Director's Cuts of I and II are. And I really can't wait for the screening of "Revenge of the Sith".

While we are talking about "Star Wars" have you all seen the spoof of Episode III called "Star Wars A Lost Hope"???? Here's the link to watch it. It is 6 and a half minutes long and requires Quick Time to watch.

Hope you all like this little spoof. He has done many of the top movies and I think this is one of the best.

dvdjunkie, I'm pretty sure the director's cuts at those screenings are just the DVD editions of the movies (with the extended podrace, Coruscant taxi scene, Padme holding Anakin's droid hand, etc.). While I don't put it past George Lucas to change those movies again, I think he's been too busy recently to spend time reediting Episodes I and II.

I am eventually going to get IV, V, and VI on DVD but I do not like the fact they were "messed with". I like the original Star Wars and I found a site that listed/showed all the changes and was upset.

I was going to "rent" III when it came out, but the place I go riding every weekend, the one girl about my age, told me her fiance and her and some of his friends are going to see III at midnight on the premier and asked me if I wanted to join, I said sure!

I saw thw tralier for Revenge of the Sith last week while watching Episode 4 on t.v. and all I can say is WOW! This will definatly be the best of the prequel trilogy and may even be better then episode 6 or 5, but I doubt it.

I just got back from Celebration III in Indianapolis. It was a lot of fun, there was between 50 to 60,000 people there. Needless to say there were long lines everywhere. They screened some footage there, I passed on it as the film is less than a month away now, but everyone who did see it came out extremely excited. They were really hyped and said that what they saw was incredible.

The highlight for me was to actually get to see Lucas himself. He was very funny and entertaining to listen to. He mentioned that he is getting with Speilberg on Monday to discuss the new Indy 4 script. He mentioned a possibility of a Willow TV series, a 30 minute Clone Wars series and an hour long SW series. He is also working on a film about African American fighter pilots in WWII.
