The dethie has a vintage G2ish Macintosh PowerPC with built-in Video, S-Video, Yuv Component, and Stereo stuff and a $25 used CRT that brings $$$$$ LCD displays to shame :-P

Hope to supplant that one day with one of them OS X GSomenthins with Blu-ray Superdrive and maybe a 30" 1600 x 2560 pixel LCD display if a mod i'm working on pans out. (or maybe three 1280 x 720 DLPs mounted 90º side by side for Digital DETHIRAMA

For Windosian compability, maybe run VirtualPC on it.

I have a Compaq Presario from late 2000, and it actually runs pretty well. Any problems with it stem from Windows Me (which enjoys randomly freezing up on me every other day). I'm hoping to get a laptop as a graduation present soon. My older sister said she'd get me one, but I'm not sure if she meant that seriously or in jest.

I didn't post my set-up before, I was waiting for my new toy to arrive.

This is a shot of my home office, where I work, browse UD and all the other sites out there. My Golden Girls autographs on the wall to the right, looking down at me :)

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite-70 lap top. It's a decent computer for getting the job done in college. And what I mean about that is, playing video games. OOOOOOH YEAH!!! It's got a DVD player so I can take it where ever and watch my favorite Disney movies.

I hate that computer, just for the fact that it's gotten so slow over the years and it costed me so much when I first bought it. Now theyt're selling the same model for 1,000 dollars and it has like triple the speed. Technology... who understands it.

I don't talk about my computer much but if anyone ever asks me I just simply say... Mac laptop and PC desktop.

For my PC I have a 23" monitor and for the tower... uhh... not sure. It's totally custom built by someone who knows more about computers than I can ever imagine.

I would love to get a G5 Mac but who knows. I love Macs and PCs pretty much 50/50 and I can never decide what to get next. :P
