True, Hunchback was a dark story and was made into a semi-dark Disney feature, so I guess that it would alright if Disney put some darkness in the story (maybe go up to a pg-13 darkness).

How many OZ books are there, I heard there were like 14 from Baum and a couple more from somebody else.

All 14 books would given Esiner the chance to make all of them into a mini-series or a guideline for a Wizard of OZ tv show not to metion turn em into sequeals.

Do you think that Disney's new CEO would think bout making Wizard of OZ as an animated film? cause it would be the Snow White of the future.
