Well to settle your apparent fears, Pals, it is still playing at Walt Disney World, so there's a whole new generation out there to remember it!MickeyMousePal wrote:Escapay, I said many I didn't say all UDers...I know some younger UD members who are much younger then me don't remember and some didn't even go to Disneyland since they live to far away.

Okay, I just read it and they do play Country Bear Jamboree at Walt Disney World but I don't know if it's the same one just like at Disneyland.

I've only seen The Country Bears once and I rather enjoyed it. I've seen the show at WDW several times and have never been a big fan (it's growing on me). The movie is far more entertaining for my money. I don't recall many specifics now but I do remember it traipsing into kiddy silliness on occasion. I was very taken by the mockumentary tone, however, and Christopher Walken was great as always. The fullscreen presentation is the only reason I don't own the DVD. I agree with Netty that TCB is a much better movie than The Haunted Mansion. I wish more people would give it a chance (which means watching more than ten or twenty minutes -- plenty of good movies have gotten off to a slow or quirky start. Even Citizen Kane).
Netty -- The original Pirates attraction at Disneyland does actually feature skeleton pirates. Whether or not they're undead is, I guess, a matter for interpretation.
