oh wait... how stupid of me!  it's snow white... right?
Yes, it's Snow White

I'm trying to make covers for all the Disney classics, but at this time I'm thinking on new ideas. :)

Well, IggieKuzco, as you wanted this is my version for the Sword and the Stone cover. In Spain it was renamed as "Merlin the Enchanter".

That's an awesome cover! But instead of wasting it (sorry!) here, why don't you send it to Disney for them to use as the poster for their (hopefully) upcoming live-action Sword in the Stone?

I'd have to say I'm not too fond of the Fantasia 2000 cover, but man, that Sword in the Stone cover is classy. Even though I'm not a big fan of the movie, if it had that cover, I'd probably buy it. :D

I especially like the Hercules one, especially since it looks like the Criterion DVD cover of Spartacus, which is a movie that I love...

Good work! 8)
Yes, my Herc cover looks like the Spartacus one. The Criterion Coleection make really good covers. That one is inspired by Saul Bass' art, the credits designer of the film.
Yes, Saul Bass is a great credits designer, I especially love the credits he designed for Psycho, vertigo and the Cape Fear remake.

I specially love the Charade cover from Criterion:

That's a great cover as well. Still haven't seen that movie though, hopefully I will soon though, cause I like both Cary grant and Audrey Hepburn (but then again, who doesn't?)

Well I like Audrey, but I'm not a big fan of Cary. His Hitchcock movies are the ones I like least, and well I'll take James Stewart over him any day. ;)

Charade is pretty enjoyable, though, from what I've seen. Good supporting cast too - George Kennedy, James Coburn, and Walter Matthau.

i *LOVE* cary grant!! although i do agree with you to an extent, Luke. i think it was very hard for him to break his screwball comedy mold. his hitchcock films are some of my least favorites that he starred in.

anyway, these are really neat covers. i wish i had the talent, time, and patience to put together something like what you've done Cherno!

I agree with Jimmy Stewart, as he's my favourite actor (well, he's tied with Robert DeNiro anyway) but I've always thought Cary Grant was great in what I've seen him in (especially North By Northwest and Notorious) but hey, to each his own. Jimmy and Cary were good together in The Philadelphia Story though.

I wanna show you one new cover, Melody Time. I focused on the Bumble Bee because for me is one the best sequences of all the Disney filmography:

And the redesigns of Sleeping Beauty and 101 Dalmatians. For SB I changed the background color and used the typography of the USA cover (thank you again, Luke). You can see my two versions.

For 101 Dalmatinas I changed the typography and texturized the background and the spots:

Tangela, have you ever been in Asturias? WOW!! As you said, the weather is ALWAYS rainy and foggy, but we have had a very good summer this year.

About my covers, the idea is to make all the Disney classics, and of course I'll do a cover for Tod y Toby. :)

Well I have never actually been in Asturias, but I have lived in Galicia for 9 years, and everyone knows "Gallegos y Asturianos, primos hermanos".

Galicia was laways rainy and foggy and the weather man in TVE1 always said "...En Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria y el Pais Vasco se esperan chuvascone por los proximos tres dias con temperaturas bajas de 15 grados..."

Anyway, hope you get "Los Rescatadores" DVD so you can give me the Lyrics for the 4 songs.

:) :) :)
