After watching this countdown and seeing no quotes from any Disney films, I suggest that the next Ultimate Disney countdown should the Top 100 (or Top 50) greastest Disney quotes. Does anyone else think we should have a countdown for the best Disney quotes?

Yeah the Love Story quote with the dumbest quote ever from quite possibly the worst movie ever made delivred by no doubt the worst actress ever was insulting where it was. Although, the retort from the Streisand movie made it half palpatable.
As for Casablanca, it deserved what it got. I don't consider it the best movie ever but it was probably the best written movie ever.

Maybe AFI can have a top 100 biggest movie twist countdown! Then we'd know who'd get #1!lord-of-sith wrote:I can't believe "I am your father" wasn't in there. It certainly is the biggest movie twist. But "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" was pretty much getting the top spot from the moment it was nominated.

As usual, there were glaring omissions, some quotes ranked too high, some ranked too low, plenty of upsets and surprises, etc. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" isn't what I would have picked, but I'm ok with it. It deserved to be near the top, anyways. Certainly no shocker.
I was very, very surprised to see "There's No Place Like Home" in the 20s. I find it to be much more memorable than "Toto, I have a feeling we aren't in Kansas anymore." I haven't seen Casablanca, so I don't know if all those quotes were worthy, but I'd like to think that The Wizard of Oz was more deserving of having the most on there.
Surprising omissions: "I am your father," "Do or do not, there is no try," ANYTHING from Disney (that's ridiculous)... there were others, but I can't remember. Disappointing-but-not-super-surprising omission: "I think it pisses God off when you walk by the color purple in a field and don't notice it."
Overall, though, I have to say that I was slightly less furious after watching this countdown than I have been with others, despite its disappointments. I do have to say that while Pierce Brosnan makes a good 007, he makes a terrible AFI host.
I'm sure I'll remember more of my thoughts on it as the day goes on. Anyways, it was a sort of fun way to pass 3 hours.
