Really sad that his life ended this way. I first got to know Robin Williams the actor from his role as alien Mork in the sitcom Mork and Mindy. Mork form Ork, nanou, Nanou. Since then I've seen so many movies with Robin Williams: Awakenings, Good Will Hunting, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jack, What Dreams may come (yes I know that movie was a flop), Aladdin of course, Death Poet's Society, One Hour Photo, Bicentennial man, Patch Adams, Night at the Museum... I'm sure I'm forgetting some (No, I did not see Good morning Vietnam)). He was a true multi-talent.

R.I.P Robin Williams!

Robin Williams Was in Early Stages of Parkinson's Disease, His Wife Reveals

Add that to depression and now at least we have a bit more reasoning why he killed himself. Doesn't make it less sad at all, but explains it like I said

Not just Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior as well.

I kinda wish they would air Aladdin and the King of Thieves. I haven't seen it since it originally released on VHS it'd be nice to see it in HD.

Also, Koko the gorilla mourns his death, according to this.

I don't know if there's any truth to it though...
I actually thought Koko died years ago.

I bet they release that on Blu-ray after the original film is finally put on Blu. I wonder if we might see all of it next year?

Robin Williams starred in some of my most favorite movies, Aladdin and also Jumanji.
It's been a while since a celebrity death hit so hard.

I was travelling in South America when I heard the news of Robin Williams' passing. I first saw it on Facebook and thought it was just another joke. But sadly, it wasn't long before I confirmed that it was in fact, true.

So sad to see the world lose such a funny and gifted actor. Sadder still to know that he took his own life. It's hard to comprehend that a man who made his living making the world laugh and forget their troubles at least for the 90 minutes that a film lasts... was battling with the dark demons of severe depression inside.

It shows that no matter who you are, how rich you are, how famous or well-liked you are... you can still fall prey to the dark clouds of depression. Only he knew what was going on inside him, and apparently didn't find the help and support he desperately needed.

Genie... you're finally free! R.I.P. Robin Williams. "No matter what anyone says, you will always be a prince to me." You will always be our beloved Genie.
