Really? I hope so. I checked Amazon Germany's (that's where I usually buy my Disney DVDs and Blu-rays) site, and they have yet to list a Blu-ray release.

I just cancelled/preordered this for the third time. My initial order at full price, my second with a $5 Amazon promo, and just now with the $5 promo and a $5 coupon.

BBFC passed the new bonus material. I forgot to update this back in September for "Mary-oke," but when I checked today and saw "Becoming Mr. Sherman," figured I'd update with both.

Odd that it's classified as additional material for Saving Mr. Banks rather than for Mary Poppins. Perhaps it'll be repeated on the Blu-Ray/DVD for Saving Mr. Banks next year. (Incidentally, BBFC passed the film itself back in mid-September, and it runs 125 minutes.)

I'm really looking forward to buying and watching Mary Poppins on Blu Ray it's a favourite film from my childhood. Julie Andrews is always a delight to watch , and her beautiful voice added so much to the appeal of this movie! Although it has been improved upon technically the blend of live action and animation was at the time groundbreaking! It looks absolutely wonderful on the Blu Ray trailer!

You do know that it's the Blu-ray image that's on top right?

Is it the shot of Bert? Because that image is a composite comparison between the DVD and Blu.

I see that we'll most likely get more picture on the sides while losing some on top. That, and the colors look a little more natural. :)

Just like in the case of The Sound of Music, the image is darker and the colors are more natural than on the 40th anniversary DVD.

Yeah I am not feeling the Blu-ray version as well. The DVD looks better. WOW, what is going on with Disney and these transfers. anything for a quick buck!
