^ Hello :)
I genuinely like Halloween Resurrection. The worst Halloween movies are those nonsense remakes that Rob Zombie made.

I agree with you about the remakes. They weren't needed and butchered and disgraced a classic. Yet, I know some fans who place them above Resurrection. Anyway, I don't want to get offtopic, so I'll leave it at that.

Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers

Much better than the 5th, but still a little weak. Funny seeing a young Paul Rudd.

Halloween H20 Twenty Years Later

Laurie Strode is back! This installment definitely feels like a Part III. After enduring the same whining annoying schtick from Donald Pleasance throughout most of the sequels, it was refreshing to have Laurie back.

Despite my busy schedule this month, I'm actually making good progress this year. Definitely will surpass 31 as I got 3 days off right now.

Halloween Resurrection

Ok! Enough of the Disney takeover of Lucasfilm. Back to Halloween movie watching. This one is not as bad as people make it out to be. Sure it's corny, but not as corny as #5. Cool seeing Katee Sackoff in this. Chatted with her at the local Comic Expo earlier this year.

That gets me to 31 movies. Not gonna bother with the Rob Zombie Halloween flicks as I don't have them on Blu-Ray this year. Will watch a few more movies though. Maybe a couple tonight, and a few tomorrow to wrap things up for this year's marathon. Will be starting a war movie marathon on Thursday in the lead-up to Nov 11.

The Exorcist

First time seeing this one. Don't know what took me so long. Great movie. However, after watching Scary Movie 2 so many times, in some parts I just couldn't watch this one with a straight face.

35. Ghostbusters

Spent Halloween yesterday with these three classics...

Image

Hocus Pocus

A fun little Disney flick. They need to make some more family-friendly horrors/Halloween movies.

Image

The Monster Squad

"Wolfman's got nards!!" A childhood favourite I watch every year. Still looking for a Stephen King Rules t-shirt.

Image

Ghostbusters

Pulled out my Dan Aykroyd signed bottle of Crystal Head Vodka, poured myself a few shots, and wrapped-up this year's movie marathon with this classic.

Twas another good year for Halloween/horror flicks. I fullfilled my #1 rule this year and that was to watch everything on Blu-Ray. I just wish my life was a little more settled down so I could've watched more.

Last night I had planned to go to screenings of Frankenweenie, The Exorcist, Alien, The Thing and The Rocky Horror Picture show but as I was studying for a test (that was laster postponed anyway) I missed Excorcist and Alien, was way too early for The Thing, and Rocky was sold out so I only made it out to Frankenweenie. That sort of thing is very much how my year was. Mostly because of a lot of school stuff I was not able to reach 31 films (even if I watched my first four in September this year). In fact I did not even reach last years total of 29 movies, and 122 tv/internet shows &/or shorts. I added these last night for a final tally of 17 films, and 129 TV/internet shows &/or Shorts.

Movies
17. Frankenweenie (2012)

TV shows/ Shorts
36. Looney Tunes Bewitched Bunny (1954)

Internet shows:
92. Phelous: Halloween II (2009)
93. Ask Axe Cop: Halloween

I will however be adding any more I cram in through Sunday night which I will post. I always think If it's in the same week it should still count in general but even more so since I felt rooked thanks to school. Don't worry though I won't bump up the thread any more come late November and then February when the delayed 'The New Normal' and 'Community' Halloween shows air.

Hope all had a Happy Halloween!
