I'm sure the writer's happy that the re-make kept his song. I wonder just how much money he's got over the years; that has to be such a lucky thing to stumble into.

Unfortunately, my guys were worn out well before the second panel so we had to leave the con early. It was definitely a pleasure seeing those that worked on a DA show in person and getting to hear their stories. I loved how Brian Cummings wanted to tell us all about his character that he couldn't even remember the name of. I'd hoped to ask if any of them had any memories to share of Lorenzo Music, but for the last question from the audience I was beaten out by someone comparing the show to Cheers.

Anyway, I lingered for a few minutes after and it was an extraordinary honor for me to meet Jim Cummings for the first time (I've been a huge fan of his since ever since I read an interview of his way back when Darkwing first came out). He was even kind enough to let me take a selfie with him! I'm including it here since he is El Capitan, after all.

I’m going to be meeting him in April at a convention in Philadelphia. I’m so excited and can’t wait!

Chuck McCann, the actor who provided his voice to Duckworth has passed away. He was 83. It's being a bad year in this regard. First it was David Ogden Stiers, the voice of Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, who died just last month; then Soon-Tek Oh, the actor who voiced Fa Zhou in Mulan; and now this.
