That kind of thing happens a lot in election years. I know oil companies in particular do their own share of "fear-mongering" by raising (or lowering) the gas prices in order to sway opinion toward the current president. We really need to get back to regulating oil companies (and insurance companies as well--nothing that's required should be that outrageous).

It's also clear that Mitt Romney has the advantage budget-wise, considering the nonstop barage of anti-Obama commercials every 90 seconds. I'm surprised it's changed to where politicians can get donations which are never revealed. For all we know, we could get a China-funded president soon.

I think it's clear from the past 16 years that the Republicans have left us in millions of debt and the Democrats have left us with a surplus. 8 years of a Republican is the factor behind our debt of 16 trillion dollars.

It's not just oil companies. It applies to many different big corporation companies.

politicians get money for their campaign donations from lobbyist who are usually are corporate business owners. Why else do you think many politicians love heeling their say? Cause if they didn't they wouldn't get the donation to support for their position for office. Why else do you think many corporations are able to get what they want from political means?

Let's all join together and tell a big lie:

How many of you are old enough to vote and how many of you are registered to and how many of you will vote in November.

How many of you have read the first three chapters of "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich"??

How many of you read the news or watch the news on a daily basis. We lost four American citizens because of a trailer on YouTube that the Muslims said insulted them. What did Obama do? He's out on the campaign trail and doesn't seem to care, at this point.

Why has Obama okayed printing more money for a stimulus package that won't affect you and I but all of his rich friends.

Please don't judge a candidate for President by not reading everything about the candidate.

Explain to me why the Unemployment roles are filled with over 19%, of which almost 9% are collecting some for of money. I am one of those who lost his job because of Obama, and I have run out of all the benefits that I am entitled to and fill out three to five applications a week still and I should be sitting on my ass collecting disability but I won't.

We are over $16 trillion dollars in debt and that number is still rising and if you don't think the world is in turmoil today, you are blind to the truths that are out there.

Even Michael Moore says Obama should be a one-term President. And don't let Bill Maher spread his 'do nothing, it will take care of itself' attitude be what you believe.

I knew as much already. And it's problem I don't think will be fixed any time soon, unfortunately.

Of course there is a lot of turmoil today. But I don’t plan to add more voting for Mitt Romney.

Also, as an aside, just because we aren’t all approaching our 800th birthday like you does not mean we are underage. I know you would need to travel the speed of light just to imagine being 20 again, but the voting age begins at 18.

Now who's talking through their hat. You better read up on the current fiscal policies of the Obama administration. His spending has been out of control for the four years he has been in office and if it doesn't stop those of you who are attending college or trade schools may not have a job out there because of it.

The National Debt is not something Obama should be proud of. It is another of those promises that he has broken. And we weren't even close to being this far in debt when Bush was in office.

You can't blame the past four years of Obama's inadequacies on the Bush administration. There is where the line has been drawn. If you listened to Bill Clinton's speech, even he doesn't think Obama has lived up to his promises while in office.

And if you don't think what is happening in Syria, Libya or Egypt can affect you or me, then you better look again. These countries don't like us, and just because Obama thinks that giving them tons of our money will make them more friendly is something you need to look into before making any decision on your vote.

Remember, Obama said "You Didn't Build That" when he talked about successful businesses in our country. I'm sorry, but there are a lot of people out there who have 'built' there business in spite of all the things the government has tried to do to block them from being successful.

I, for one, have been out of work since June 2010, and have not given up on finding a job even though I used up all the benefits that I had coming to me. Living off of Social Security is no neat trick these days, but if Obama had his way, anyone over the age of 65 in poor health would just be left to what ever means they had to get by. His Obamacare Health policy has taken $700 million dollars from the Medicare coffers without any vote or even letting the Senior citizens know about. This needs to be repealed for the sake of all the seniors in our country.

I didn't intend for all this to get out of hand wen I posted my question about whether any of you had seen "2016: The Obama Years", but apparently you are all non-conservative spenders who support our leader in his wild spending ways. Wake up and smell the roses, we are not going to enjoy the rest of our lives if we get another four years of this malcontent in office.

Apparently he doesn't think he is going to win the election with the realtors in Hawaii talking about the estates that the Obama have looked into buying next year.

Michael Moore, who was one of Obama's biggest supporters in 2008, has even come out and said we are in trouble if Obama gets another four years.

You need to pay attention to sources other than MSNBC or CNN when you are gathering your facts. Read what Herman Cain or Neal Boortz have to say about the current state of affairs. Watch something other than the liberal-controlled television news programs and look at both sides of what is going on.

How convenient. If Mitt Romney became the president, somehow I don't think you'd mind blaming Obama in 2016 when the national debt has gone upwards of 20 trillion because of conservative tax cuts (for the rich) and spending--most likely on another war or three.

Why should I watch Fox News when I can already see you’ve perfectly laid out all their talking points, like an Elisabeth Hasselbeck knock-off.

If you read this completely with an open mind, I think you realize what a screw-up we have for a President. Read it carefully and completely before you close your eyes or shake your head or even leave a post.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/09/ ... -violence/

Note to Disney's Divinity: I can tell that you are one of those left-wing tree-huggers and can't stand it when someone speaks the truth. Where was the National Debt when Obama took office? Truthfully look this up and reply. Quit blaming everything in the world on the Bush presidency. We are way beyond that, and I would hope that you are among those who will read the above story about President Obama blaming the victims for the violence overseas. It is a lot closer than you think, and turning your other cheek is not going to make it get any better.

I am looking forward to the debate between Obama and Romney. Hoping that all of you tree-huggers will watch the debate and listen closely as our leader skates around all the issues that concern all of us, you and me and the rest of this nation.

You know junkie is full of shit and out of touch of reality when telling us to read Faux News and their opinion website page no less, with "open-mindness"

Want non bias news, read BBC. Probably the least bias news company out there. That's where I get my news along with news point out from another forum I go to.

Reading junkie posts about politics is similar to Disney Duster essence logic with an added + of overly venomous attitude. I mean, honestly, using “tree-hugger” as an insult? Besides the fact that it shows how ignorant you are of basic reality, is that even a common term anymore? I thought it went out of vogue 10 years ago.

I'll make one last point and this one is the one that should open everyone's eyes.

I read all those who say that Obama inherited all his problems from Bush 8 years ago, and most of that is untrue.

Getting to the point - Our National Debt is out of control. When Bush left office it was at $9 trillion dollars. In just three plus years Obama has almost doubled the National Debt, it sits at just over $16 trillion dollars with projections that it will reach the 17 trillion mark before the end of the year.

And if you didn't read that article that I posted, forget that it is a Fox News source, read what it says about the situation and how Obama is just sweeping it all under the rug like he has done over the past three years.

That movie trailer that is on YouTube has been there for over three months. You can't tell me that the death of those four Americans weren't planned to coincide with the anniversary of 9/11. Like I have said, you stick your head in the ground and hide from the truth just so long, and then it will bite you where the sun doesn't shine. You need to get your facts from both sides, look forward to the Debate, and make a wise decision after that - for those of you who are registered to vote or will vote. If you don't vote and you have the right to, then you have nothing to complain about in November.

I'm 22, but canadian and unregistered. It doesnt mean my opinion doesnt matter; it means I just dont think it's really worth it anymore to register and wait more than a full presidential term to be able to vote. I'm assuming I cant really do much else here.

I dont watch crap like msnbc or fox news. both parties get attacked by the Daily Show and Colbert Report. They may be comedians, but they're serious about using facts and fact checkers.

While seemingly greeting the undocumented workers into our country with open arms, Mr. Obama has been actively fighting illegal immigration since he was inaugurated, through a multifaceted and unconventional approach.

The first has been through Operation Fast and Furious. By introducing a higher level of weaponry to the ongoing drug war south of the border, our president has been working on reducing the population of Mexico, thereby creating job openings for would-be border crossers.

Second, the President has been diligently working on making America less attractive to potential undocumented workers by reducing the opportunities for them to work, and making our economy unable to sustain any inflow of illegals looking for a job.

Amazingly he was able to do this while appearing to pander to the Latin voter by offering up extended stay programs like the Dream Act and other back door amnesty programs.

Here's something that might make you think a little less of our leader:

One of the most upfront and honest of the broadcasters in the business today. He doesn't offer anything but the truth and if that doesn't scare you I don't know what will.

If any of you should be smart enough to read this completely from beginning to end, and can post an intelligent reply, I am open to what you have to say.

My problem with the election this year is I believe Obama should be a 1 term President, but Romney has done nothing to show me he will be any better. So why should I vote for either one?

Its really a bad election year. Right now I'm waiting on the debates, and have no clue who I should vote for. It's always been clear to me in previous elections, but not this year.

My opinion is, looking in, that the US would be in the same position now roughly regardless of who won the election in 2008. It was a poison chalice with the world economy tanking and the toxic loans armageddon. Obama was on a hiding to nothing. McCain wouldn't have done any better imo.

From the desk of Neal Boortz:

If you were a teenager, knowing what you do about Obama as an adult, you would be donating your allowance to Romney.

Yes, because what a poor teenager should be doing is donating their small incomes to the already-a-millionaire Romney. I suppose that represents the irony of voting Republican if you aren’t a rich white man nicely--you sacrifice your own interests in order to make the rich richer.

I don't think that any of you are listening and evaluating both sides of this election. It is your future and if you are in the age group of 18-35, you have been duped by that despot in office today. You need to pull your head out of your arse and get the facts as they are presented - not just by one news source but by several sources - and then dig deep into what concerns you have and then make your decision.

I just don't understand what you people see in this President. He has screwed everybody but Monica Lewinsky and that's because she likes it. If you paid attention to Bill Clinton's speech you will have heard what he thinks of Obama, and it isn't very good.

Here's something from Neal Boortz that perked my attention:

Is there any part of the world that ISN'T outraged at America? Thanks, Obama, for resetting our image in the world. Good job stud.
