i am snowbot, which is a combination of snow and robot. my last name is snow, and one of my favorite bands is kraftwerk, which is a german group that pioneered electronic music in the 1970s. one of their themes was robots- they sung about being robots and they had robot versions of themselves that performed on stage sometimes. hence- snowbot.

- my (Dutch) family name is 'Boon' which translates as 'Bean' in English.
- the 'Been there/Bean therio' is something a friend made up for me when he concluded that my previous nick was a bit 'dull'.
- the 'bean:' part is also a particular notation in the Java/JSP-programming language, which I have used for some time.

[Invader ZIM]

Invader ZIM is a smelly cartoon-television-show on Viacom's Nicktoons ( Nick canceled this show many earth cycles ago). The show consists of a normal human boy plagued by the big-headed Dib pig. Curse you Dib! Curse you!!!!

Basically, my name is Joanna, but I use Jo more often because I'm too lazy to add the last four letters. Awhile back I needed a new email account and one of my friends begged me to let her name it. She came up with "I am the Jo as you know". I asked her why and she said "Because you are the Jo as I know." It made sense to me, plus it rhymed, so I use it. But iamthejoasyouknow is too long to type out over and over, so I shortened it. Tada! iamthejo

i got diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome a few years back and "aspie" is supposed to be a short term for the condition (It's not an illness like I'm gonna die or something, relax!)

and toon is just my new found appreciation for cartoons that started when I began college! Hate high school I hate hate high school!

My name, 2099net comes from the wonderful 2099 series of comics Marvel published in the 90's.

I wish 2099 would be resurrected. Especially Spider-Man 2099 and Doom 2099.

My name actually comes from the world of wrestling.

Dory and Terry Funk were real life brothers and wrestlers. When one of them got injured they needed a replacement which was JimmyJack Funk.

Somewhere in my first days on the Internet circa 1995 I realized every one was using nicknames.

I had just watched a videotape with him wrestling in ECW Wrestling and just picked the name.
