Nobody is talking or saying why yet, but "Evil Dick" is gone after the first show. He walked off and hasn't been heard from.

I believe it is all part of the basic plan for the show this year.

There are so many better shows to watch at this time of the evening that I really don't care.

Seeing the show's history with him, I don't think they would want him off so soon. His presence before created a lot of passionate haters and fans of his. Let's just say he lived up to his name. Seeing the ratings he brought his first time around I definately don't think the show was in any rush to get rid of him. Therefore I don't think that was part of their plan by them especially because of the position it puts them in game-wise (i.e the rule about the top 10 with the evicting of partners). Besides, that now puts them down one houseguest when it comes to spacing out the weeks with evictions.

Totally happy with who was evicted, and especially with who is now HoH. Curious as to what will happen next.

As far as Dick goes, he's far from my favorite person to have had back. That being said, it does suck that he had to leave because of an emergency. I don't think he will be returning at all otherwise he would have been sequestered, but since he said he will be watching it's suggestive that we won't be seeing him again until the finale.

I haven't watched since Jeff's insanely homophobic Dumbledore rant. That killed him after 3 years of fandom AND the show for me at least for now, while he is there.

I remember he said something the year he was on that turned me off him, but I can’t remember since it’s been so long.

My sleep’s been irregular, so I’ve missed the show the past few eps. Kind of lost interest, but I'll try to check out tonight.

I wish Jordan and Jeff would just get the fudge out already. I can't stand all their undeserved arrogance.

I like how they're throwing fits now that they aren't on the top anymore. Especially Jordan getting mad at floaters. Please, Jordan, you won by being the ultimate floater. STFU

Even though Rachel is annoying, she at least is a power player. She's not as bad with Brendan gone.

I don't recall Jordan being an ultimate floater. Obviously she would have played a good social game to earn jury votes, and I also know she won HoH and PoV in the same week and was the first person to do that in her season. She had also been nominated once but given how she won, did something right in order to stay in the game and earn the votes.

;) I don't call that a floater. Compare that to say, Lawon who's done.....what now?

I like Jeff and Jordan, personally especially compared to Rachel/Brendon. I do think Kalia made a large error this week in nominating Jeff and should have gone a different route in order to get rid of Rachel. For example, put up Porcha and another newbie, then backdoor Rachel. Even then, there's a 50/50 chance she'd walk right back in the door if she won that contest and be able to compete in HoH.

Jordan’s "social game" (I wouldn't call it that  ) in BB11 was to be a joke and let Jeff do all the hard work. That way, nobody would eliminate her because she wasn't a threat and nobody would hate her because she never did anything. She didn't even consciously make a decision to team up with Jeff, they just had a bit of a showmance. She only started to be an active player in the finals and, imo, should’ve lost to Natalie. It's the same this season--she knows she'll never be eliminated because the person up next to her on the block will always be considered the bigger threat.

We can't really compare, because Lawon hasn't got to the finals and been left alone to defend himself yet.
I like Jeff and Jordan, personally especially compared to Rachel/Brendon.
I hate them all.

I don't know, I'm just kind of exhausted with the re-hash of two seasons past with these returning players.

I really hope Dominic comes back into the house and helps to take Jeff out.

Well yeah, that's playing a social game though -not- being the big threat while still winning things. I also think it's not quite her fault some people self-destruct themselves ;) *coughs*Rachel*coughs*

The only thing I'm tired about is Rachel. It's sooooooo old after the first episode or two of her crying and whining and moping.

Also....what the hell is Lawon thinking!?!? Same with Kalia and Daniele. I almost -want- to see Brendon walk back in just to shock the hell out of them for making such a huge error in not planning to take Rachel out as planned.

I can't believe you people still buy into this show. Ms. Chen was on The Early Show the other day, and was just laughing at how this show is so scripted, and compared it to the children's story about The Pied Piper of Hamelin, who everyone followed because they thought it was the right thing to do.

Her statement that really tells me all about this show: "As long as there are people out there who think this is entertainment, we will still be here!"

I have tried to watch this show because of all the correspondence on UD and this thread, and can't get through to the first commercial, the acting is so bad, and the script-writing is just terrible.

I'm sorry, I am not a follower.

Nobody cares, dvdjunkie. We heard all this the first 7 times you posted it.

I would agree except she never did any of that purposely. It just kind of 'happened' for her. If Jeff hadn't been awarded with the random unearned coup detat power (which I thought was unfair, but I liked Jeff better than Jessie, Chima, etc.), she'd have been screwed.

Somehow I doubt Brendan is popular with America though. Regardless, I think Lawon thought he'd get something like Dan a few years ago, where he'd get prizes for doing things or something like that, since he probably thought there was slim chance he'd win. Still, it's unlikely he'll survive, considering I doubt he could beat anyone he'll be setup to compete with.

Still, I liked Danielle's reaction to Lawon putting himself up to go. "And if he doesn't come back--oops! *cackle*"

So Brendan got voted in and Lawon lost to him meaning Brendan is back in. Ugh! I feel like all the progress made the past couple of weeks just went down the drain. We're back to where we started from. What a waste of a couple of weeks.

Yeah. Sucks. I really don't believe he would've got popular vote though... It's amazing to me that this guy has now got three chances to play this game, and he'll most likely get eliminated again. Ugh. Anyway, unless Danielle or Porsche win HoH, I'll probably check out for a week or two until one of these four are gone.

I'm -glad- he's back. Know why? Because Daniele and Kalia messed up royally. If they had sat down and thought things out this would not have occured. Instead they saw a scapegoat in Lawon and made a huge mess of it. I LAUGHED so hard at Lawon's shocked reaction, never mind Rachels.

So to be honest? Yeah progress was lost. Whose fault is it? Kalia and Danieles yet again. And for the record - no I don't like Rachel or Brendon but that doesn't change the fact that I love how things went down.

Maybe if people had played a smarter game, things would be different. Also, Jeff and Jordan don't have a deal to -not- come after Kalia or Daniele, Jeff only said he'd "take it into account" if Jordan wasn't the replacement. Also, the returned houseguest also does not have a deal in place, so Kalia and Daniele are sitting ducks.

This.

That said, I blame Kalia, not so much Danielle. Danielle would've made sure she got rid of Rachel by putting Jordan up. Kalia's the one who was afraid to get blood on her hands.

Actually, if it had been me, and Jeff had acted as stupid as he did with Kalia, I would've put up Jordan and did my best to have her sent home out of spite. Because he's already against me, might as well get rid of his closest partner. Kalia was too weak though.

The biggest problem is Kalia tried to mend too many fences in one go. If she was smart she would have stuck with the plan to get rid of Rachel worst case scenario she comes back. However she saw an easy out and took it, with disaster as the result.

I lump Daniele in there because she really did go with the plan, she voted that way and I believe helped get the votes by talking to the other newbs with Kalia. At any given time she could have said "No. I think we need to stick with the original plan" and really made a push for it to happen, or tried to rally the votes without talking to Kalia about it.

Well…I have to say I’m disappointed (again) that Danielle wasted this week on Shelly and Adam--although I enjoyed Shelly’s meltdown. :P I know she’s trying to forge some kind of temporary deal with Rachel and Brendan (which may be a good idea considering it might cause R&B and J&J to butt heads), but I’d have put Jeff and Jordan up with Shelly as a replacement nom. I’m not sure why she’s so obsessed with getting rid of Brendan…

But I got a little joy out of seeing all the smugness wipe off everybody’s faces when Danielle and Porsche were left.

I think it's because if Brendan goes Rachel will self-implode. Again. So I do think it's a smart move to get rid of him first just because if Rachel went, you know Brendan would likely buckle down and get his shit together more easily/faster.

Also this week, if nobody is a replacement it makes me wonder who would go. I imagine Shelly could go if it meant taking out J&J's extra help on the side. Personally I'd rather see Adam go just because he's not.....attached to anyone. He's flopping back and forth, not winning etc. At least with Shelly you know where she stands and won't flip at the last second because it's convenient for her.

Well, Danielle predictably went with Brendan as her replacement. I still think it would’ve been a better idea to put Jeff or Jordan up there. Like Rachel said, he’s creating a mini-army and I think Brenchel would’ve actually stayed true to Danielle for at least the following week whereas Jeff/Jordan/Adam/Shelly would automatically put Danielle up.

Can't wait to see Rachel implode...again.
