Yay for blu-ray! Just release Many Adventures on BD and I will be done.

ps. That plush is adorable. Reminds me of my bf's rock hard koala toy from the 50s.

I do too. But they don't sell well, so apparently not many do.

I hope that Mexican Blu-ray has English options like Dumbo cuz I'd be more willing to shell out $40(shipping included) for that blu-ray and get it in 5 days than wait for it to come out in theaters and pay just as much for one showing.

^Umm.... okay?

Is it just me, or is Disney becoming a total cheapskate when it comes to bonus features? :x

That's just for the DVD. I'm sure there will be more on the US Blu-ray... although probably not a whole lot more.

I kind of used to care about bonus features, but these days I don't have time to watch them. I finish the movie and then need to move on with life. I don't have time to remain seated, watching all sorts of bonus segments.

With the meager amount they give us, you don't really need a lot of time. :p

And to be honest I care less and less about bonus features as time passes anyway. You can usually find trailers and deleted scenes on youtube, and the behind the scenes stuff is typically crap that talks down to audiences ("Wow, did you know that they record the voices before they start the animation?") . . . oy. The only one I really still care about is having an audio commentary that's not complete and total fluff and even that's asking for too much these days.

I'm not sure if I really want to own this just for the movie like I'd typically say though . . . I'm actually still more interested in the Nessie short.

This felt more like a Saturday morning cartoon then a full feature movie..not that I mind I actually love the innocnence that Pooh has, it was cute...but still I believe it could have been a bit "more" to push it towards being a feature film.

That's just for the DVD. I'm sure there will be more on the US Blu-ray... although probably not a whole lot more.
And that will still be barely anything worthwhile.

And Disneyjedi, it took you this long to realize that?

"Many Adventures" hasn't been re-released in the other countries, has it? I REALLY want it to get a Blu release alongside "Winnie the Pooh". I know that and basically all of the other Pooh films are currently OOP in the US. Is that the same in other countries?

The Blu Ray better have a boat load of extras. That was the only reason I got into Blu Ray and I'd feel really silly if the extras are just barely more then the DVD.

I have a feeling the US release will be similar/or the same as the recent release in Mexico. With an English audio track.

I'm sure the Blu-ray will have more features than the DVD. Even if it doesn't the video/audio quality should be top notch, and beat the DVD.

Thanks MJW! I pre-ordered it (and I ordered The Help by Kathryn Stockett, too). I found it online (yeah, I know...) and I thought it was a pretty cute movie. Not as good as The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but I still liked it. Hopefully we'll get more special features than the ones that have been previously listed. The funny thing is, I still need to pick up Tangled. Oh well, maybe I'll get it as a Christmas present for myself...

According to dvdizzy.com:
http://www.dvdizzy.com/dvdschedule3.html
The DVD will include 3 deleted scenes and 2 bonus shorts.

The Blu-ray combos will include the above along with 2 additional deleted scenes, sing-along viewing mode, "Pin the Tail on Eeyore" game, and "Winnie the Pooh and His Story Too".
According to the special features listed for the UK release, the 3 deleted scenes on the DVD will be "The Tummy Song", "Rabbit’s Friends and Relations", and "Pooh Searches for a Tail" while the 2 bonus shorts will be "The Ballad of Nessie" and "Mini-Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Pooh’s Balloon".

The 2 additional deleted scenes that will be included on the Blu-ray are the "Original Introduction for Eyeore" and the "Original Introduction for Tigger".

"Winnie the Pooh and His Story Too" will probably be a 'making-of' featurette or a featurette about the history of Winnie the Pooh.

North and South American countries will be getting a Blu-ray release along with a DVD one while European countries will only get a DVD release.
A member at blu-ray.com wrote: It has been confirmed by Disney (Belgium) and Disney (Netherlands): Disney (USA) cancelled the Blu-ray release for Europe.
