Oh BTW, are these yours?

*Holds up a pair of underwear

No, there's a picture of Cinderella on them. Those must be Duster's!
Uh I don't know...these are rather cheap quality, and Duster's too fabulous for that sort of thing.
Ah, so there will be more partying? GOOD! :D
I already have the tequila, the DJ, the strippers and a ton of other things lined up for the party ;)

It's pap64 back for more (hey I made a rhyme! I guess I can do it some of the time!) and this time he's here to tell us who is the Friendliest/Kindest Member of the Year!

Friendliest/Kindest of the Year

Image:
Dictionary.com defines community as a social group of any size that often share a common or cultural heritage. Ultimate Disney is a fine example of this idea. Each member brings something different to the table, from silliness to profound thoughts and even a little bit of a rebellious nature. But what keeps the community running are those members who are able to see beyond the silly Disney Princess signature and the crazy username and relate to the human being behind the computer. They offer their help when someone needs it, give their advice to anyone regardless if they know them or not and make the place a better place to hang out in. The nominees for friendliest/kindest member are...

atlanticaunderthesea
blackcauldron85
enigmawing
Margos
PrincePhillipFan
UmbrellaFish

And the Golden Mickey goes to...

blackcauldron85
Image
This is blackcauldron85's 8th Golden Mickey Award and her third consecutive award for Friendliest/Kindest Member of the Year. She has 4 nominations this year.

Congratulations, blackcauldron85! You're like the spoonful of sugar that helps the medicine go down!

Don't touch that dial! We've got more awards coming your way. But if your TV is currently tuned in to "The Insider," then by all means, change the channel quickly!

Check it the Cinderella image has the right colors, the way she looked when the film premiered in 1950. If not, we can rule out Marky as the owner.

While you guys still figure out whose underwear that is, please welcome Wonderlicious back to the stage as he presents the Most Amusing Posts of the Year!

Most Amusing Posts of the Year

Image:
Hello there, and now it's time to celebrate the members who make the most amusing posts. From fangirls and saucy comments, to Milk Buds and popcorn, all those nominated have proved to be real crackers amongst the population of UD. The nominees are...

enigmawing
Escapay
SpringHeelJack
Super Aurora
Wonderlicious

Wow, I'm one of them too. Oh, how I blish. (whispers come from offstage) Sorry, I mean to say how I blush. But anyway, we've all been as funny as hell. Let's open the envelope to reveal the winner.

And the Golden Donald, sorry, Mickey goes to...

Escapay
Image
This is Escapay's 12th Golden Mickey Award and his fourth consecutive award for Most Amusing Posts of the Year. He has 7 nominations this year.

Thanks, you guys! I feel silly for accepting this award for the fourth time, I guess whatever I'm doing must be still funny on some level. On the plus side, another award for me also means more chocolate inside the Golden Mickeys.

"Wait! There's chocolate inside the Golden Mickeys?" someone is likely asking.

Yes, there is. And I'll be off watching "Glee" and enjoying the chocolate while this little bunny courtesy of enigmawing - I've named him Herbert - is enjoying this lace collar...

I wish Escapay would give us all a moment of breath to congratulate the winners, between categories. :)

Okay, I'm stayin' up this night! :D

If only to congratulate Amy! Much, much, much deserved win!

All those nominated have to be complimented on their contributions to the UD community. I must admit that, when I joined two years ago, I found the concept of 'UD Awards' to be rather silly, but with members like these, I have definitly changed my mind.

And now, before I blow up my carefully constructed reputation as the controversial, obnoxious Dutchman, let's leave it there. Suffice to say that at least for me, with members like our winner blackcauldron85, "Things have changed". And to illustrate this further, I have a very special surprise for all of you! To celebrate this event and the change of mind UD can accomplish, I have arranged for a very talented singer to perform for you tonight!

Ladies and gentlemen, give him a big round of applause! He has interrupted his 'Never ending tour' especially to be here! Here is...

... Mister Bob Dylan, singing "Things have Changed"!

Let's give Bob Dylan a round of applause for that magnificent performance!

Now, let us welcome our next performer. He is fabulous, he sung and danced his way to victory and is a star in one of the hottest shows this season. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, FROM GLEE KURT HUMMEL!

Believe me, I would love that too! In previous years, the ceremonies took between two weeks and a month, but since I wanted the entire Awards process (from nominations to voting to ceremony) all done within October (so that November would be free and clear for Secret Santa if Luke decides on it this year), things were put on a strict schedule and eventually all got rushed. ;) I'm surprised everything's gone off without a hitch so far! Were it not for "Glee" at 8 pm leading to me rushing the past 3 awards all within an hour, tonight would've been on the same schedule as last night (one award approximately every hour, with six awards handed out each night). Rest assured, the rest of the award days (Thursday and Friday, as on WEDnesday I will be elsewhere on the internet, and UDers are welcome to join!) will be back on the regular schedule. :D

Stay tuned, there are two more awards left for the evening.

"Only two?" the disappointed audience asks.

Oh, all right. Because I rushed earlier and abandoned the awards for "Glee", I'll include an additional award tonight!

"Yay!" the audience cheers.

pap64 just keeps coming out here, we might as well set up a recliner for him to relax in! But he can't relax just yet, he still needs to present the award for Avatar of the Year!

Avatar of the Year

Image:

With the advent of sites like MySpace and Facebook, the identity of a forum user is no longer a secret. Still, an avatar can still become part of the user's personality, despite his or her face being known to the whole internet world. The following nominees have pushed boundaries in what an avatar should be, often putting their heart and soul into these images. I assure you, no Na'Vis were involved in the creation of these avatars. And the nominees for best avatar are...

enigmawing: Disney Princesses Avatar

enigmawing: Wedding Avatar

Escapay: Lace Collar Gromit

sotiris2006: Rapunzel Becomes Ariel Becomes Rapunzel

Super Aurora: Ariel with Sunglasses

This is enigmawing's 4th Golden Mickey Award and her second consecutive for Avatar of the Year. She has 7 nominations this year.

Let's take a look at her winning avatar!

And now it's time for the second Special Award of the ceremony, as Disneykid tells us which Forum Member You'd Most Like To Spend A Day With In a Disney Theme Park!

Special Award: Forum Member You'd Most Like To Spend A Day With In a Disney Theme Park

Image:
"A Disney forum and a Disney theme park are more alike than they seem. Both feature self-contained communities of people who share a love for the Mouse and engage in an experience together. Sometimes you just want to share that out-of-the-ordinary experience of a Disney park with someone who means a great deal to you, making an already memorable event even more magical. After all, if a simple message board could bring people together, imagine what a whole park could do. For this second special award, we acknowledge the forum member you'd most like to spend a day with in a Disney theme park. And the nominees are..."
