You got it. ;)
And it's actually this love which is so beautifully shown in Disney films that I connect with a natural understanding of sexuality. I know that "sex" can be understood in so many different ways. But it is love that is "sex" in its perfection, if you know what I mean.

Well, maybe you can think everyone puts sex into everything subsconciously, but there will be people who choose to put sex into everything and people who don't. I'm someone who wants to choose to do the other things, not have sex in everything.

You can say a hug or kiss is sexual but when parents do it to their offspring you have to reconsider. When Snow White and the Prince look up at the castle in the clouds you have to reconsider.

You might as well say that all that a person is goes into what they do and make, which would also be true, but would also mean that more than sex goes into everything. It would be almost like saying everything goes into everything.

True, but I would like one more true to the book, and not with animals. They would never do it though, because they already adapted it. :(

Another fabulous idea that would never happen: Dracula! (With human characters of course  )

I would also love to see Cyrano de Bergerac animated.

Well, if they wanted to, they could adapt it again. I mean, they adapted The Sorcerer's Apprentice for Fantasia and are doing another adaptation of The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Well, we can all have different opinions about what's supposed to be in a Disney-film and what not... That's what the thread asks for. It asks for us to come up with ideas. It sets no limits. We all have different ideas about this, so there's no need to insult each other.

Basically, I think there is nothing wrong with showing sexuality on the screen, even explicit. I'm not saying putting hardcore porn in a Disney film is good for children to watch, but I don't think that was what Will Barks was saying either. But a 'love' scene between, say, Ariel and Eric? Why should that be wrong? Isn't it more disturbing that all the villains have to die a really violent death?

I was joking with 'Disney hentai', and I don't think that it's "messed up". Will and I are adults, and that's why we can take a joke. Maybe you need to grow up a little more.

No, I care about what BackgroundActorman said. I think that he just didn't get that Will Barks was saying it was okay for children to see such things since they are part of all human life, I guess, or wasn't thinking of Disney films as only for children. But I think each Disney animated classic needs to be a great film and event of the year for everyone in the family to be able to see.

for one, I would try not to think about what people expect from disney and simply make a good movie that appeals to all ages.

Ive had an idea for years that I wanted to do (and was actually trying to do it at one point back in like, 2004, even made a really lousy trailer for it using 3D animation, had a small team of people willing to help me), but was never able to flesh it out enough.

The basic idea was it was about a young boy who built a tree house in his back yard to get away from other frustrations he was dealing with from school, bullies, parents etc. he keeps having to rebuild further from home, and higher because something bad things keep happening. he eventually realises he shouldn't hide from the world, that people do miss and need him.

the characters name was Mike, here's what his design looked like.

I decided I didn't like it after a lot of people said it reminded them of harry potter. so I started from scratch on his design, but then put the whole thing on hold indefinitely.

and even though I had this idea well before these came out, I think both bridge to terribithia and where the wild things are have a lot of elements I wanted this movie to have.

it'll probably never get made. but if it does, I'd be open to letting it be hand drawn too.

Also "Brigadoon".
