Spent a small fortune on some hard-to-find cult films and a classic underrated Hollywood horror-comedy:

I finally got my replacement Fantasia Box Set! This time, Fantasia played with absolutely no signs of disc rot! I have yet to see Fantasia 2000, but I'm sure it will be just as good. I'm so excited to watch every last bonus feature!

Never mind. Fantasia 2000 wouldn't stop skipping around the Sorcerer's Apprentice sequence. Here we go again. :( :x

If the Fantasia and the Fantasia Legacy disc work fine then maybe it would be cheaper to just replace Fantasia 2000?

I had thought of that, but my mother said she's far to busy to e-Mail the seller and see if that's a possibilty. (It's her Amazon account, so she's the one that has to do it, and she really doesn't feel like it right now. )

If it isn't possible, then I actually might just buy a used copy of 2000, honestly. I don't want to have to do that, since I'm saving up for the next issue of 23, BatB, and TLK. But I'll do what I must.

That's what I did....somewhat....My Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 discs from my anthology were stolen by some hoodlem that use to come over to my house...which Hoodlem that is I don't know but they won't bother me againi where I am at now...anyway I was thankful the Legacy disc was still there.....so I went to half.com and bought used copies that were authentic of Fantasia and Fantasia 2000.....it was much cheaper in the end...and the discs still work for me today....

I replaced them via half.com

And I also got this insane early 90's comedy which is one of my all-time greatest guilty pleasures:

Desperate Housewives: The Complete First Season $19.99 used at FYE.

A friend loaned me the first season and I bought seasons 2 and 3 on my own. I loved season 1 too much to not own it, and I'll probably watch it after I watch season 3, because season 4 is still pretty expensive so I want to wait until I get a little more money so I don't spend it all on season 4.

Columbia House is having a 50% off DVDs sale right now, so I just ordered:

A Walk in the Clouds- $7.48
Untamed Heart- $7.48
Gone With the Wind- $12.48

All + shipping = $34.41. I was going to add The Wizard of Oz, which is also $12.48, which is a good price, but I didn't want to spend too much money, since I'm saving it for some other things.
