Once again: Disneykid!

Best Villain in a Film

Disneykid: It’s often been said that that a hero (and story) is only as good as its villain. Like most other clichés, this one certainly has a basis in truth. Conflict is difficult to bring about without the aid of an antagonist. He or she tests the endurance of the protagonist, proving to us how far the side we’re rooting for is willing to go. Such villains come in all shapes and sizes. They can play a minor or major role and be either blatantly evil or deceivingly innocent. They can have a clear-cut agenda or have more ambiguous motivations. No matter the type, the nominated villains are the ones that resonated most with audiences. The nominees are:

Auto/Ship's Computer (portrayed by MacInTalk, Sigourney Weaver in WALL-E)
Irina Spalko (portrayed by Cate Blanchett in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull)
The Joker (portrayed by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight)
Sister Aloysius Beauvier (portrayed by Meryl Streep in Doubt)

...And the winner is...

Once again, PeterPanfan!

Best Direct-to-Video Movie of the Year

PeterPanfan: These nominees aren't very well known outside of the Disney community, especially the two non-Disney releases. The first, being "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning" garnered many reviews from the members of Ultimate Disney, usually putting it into the mediocre category. It is a prequel to the first two films, with Jodi Benson again reprising her role as Ariel the mermaid.

The second and last Disney one is, "Tinkerbell." This film was both anticipated and dreaded, since it was the first Peter Pan - related film to finally five Tinkerbell a voice. Mae Whitman did the honors, proving that it wasn't so horrible to hear Tink speak.

The next film, "I Could Never Be Your Woman" stars Michelle Pfiefer and Paul Rudd, follows a couple trying to make their relationship work despite the noticable age difference.

Lastly is the Cole and Dylan Sprouse film, "The Prince and the Pauper" which modernized the famous tale with Kay Panabaker playing the love interest.

Once more, the nominees are:

I Could Never Be Your Woman
The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning
The Prince and the Pauper
Tinker Bell

...And the winner is...

This year's nominees for Best Contemporary Christian or Gospel artist include an upstart punk rock band, a woman whose career has rested in the crux of country music but who this year was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and had her biggest hit in years with a song called "Jesus and Gravity", a group of reality TV contestants/budding rock stars who gathered to sing the CCM classic "Shout to the Lord" to a national audience of millions one night and again the next night when response (and iTunes single sales) demanded an encore, and a six time Grammy-winning pop star who is also the best-selling Christian music singer of all time.

The nominees for Best Contemporary Christian or Gospel Artist are:

American Idol Top Eight
Amy Grant

I bet you're thrilled about Amy winning all those award, huh, Aaron?!? :D

I held my breath as I scrolled down to see who won Best Actor in a Made-for-TV Movie or Mini-Series...I was hoping everyone would pull through and vote for the one Disney movie actor...but no. Poor Kevin. It's an honor just to be nominated, I guess. :)

Oh, and yay for Wall-e winning its awards!!! :pink:
