Does anybody know if these short film volumes will ever be released in the UK?. Unfortunatly they never released any of the treasure's series after the first wave (of silly symphonies, mickey mouse in colour 1+2 and donald duck) and i would to be able to own these. I could import them but the cost is just too high once you count up all the postage and for short films its not really worth it.

It is indeed just the animated short from the feature film. It will be accompanied by Ferdinand the Bull, Johnny Appleseed (from Melody Time), and Goliath II. It seems like the reoccurring theme in those shorts will be characters who aren't the way everybody expects them to be (a dragon who likes poetry and tea, a bull who only wants to sniff flowers, a man who spends his life planting apple seeds, and an elephant of miniature proportions).
sorry to bump an old thread, but does anyone know if this line is going to continue and if so, what volume LAMBERT will be on?
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I think I would be interested in "The reluctant dragon". Most of the other titles I have in some form or other. Wasn't "The reluctant dragon"' also on "Your host Walt Disney (Treasures series)?

The full length feature film, 'The Reluctant Dragon,' was on 'Behind the Scenes of the Walt Disney Studios.' The version that is on the animation collection DVD is just the 20 minute short, not the feature film.BelleGirl wrote:I think I would be interested in "The reluctant dragon". I didn't know Sean Marshall did the voice of the boy in The Small One short! I was so happy when I was watching the short just now. It was a very sweet story! I love the ending very much. I totally recommend picking up Mickey's Christmas Carol" just for "The Small One" short itself. And also for the open matted version of "Mickey's Christmas Carol" lol
I would think Sean Marshall would have been in a lot more Disney films. He was a really good actor and singer around that time. I loved him in Pete's Dragon!
