be prepared for a hilarious episode, the animation is just like in the opening and some characters have hilarious roles. I love that episode and when it's finally on DVD I guess I'll make it a new Christmas tradition.

I just finished watching it. Even in cartoon form, it still has the same brand of humor. It could have made a lot of money for Sony. It had several "Mother" jokes, which even in animation are funny.

The title of the special is also a song sung by "Elfis" and Fran

The DVD (which I haven't bought yet) could have (or better yet All of the season sets) come with the book "The Wit & Wisdom Of The Nanny" 'by' Nan .E. Fine

I just discovered the relevance of the mistake in titling the "Unkindest Gift" episode "The Unkindest Cut."

There is an episode of a TV show called "The Unkindest Cut." It's from Taxi, the Paramount tv show with Judd Hirsch, Danny DeVito, and Marilou Henner. From the 4th season.

Which makes this even stranger since Sony is the distributer of The Nanny, not Paramount.
