I called my brother a few days ago that I would like to see Disney on Ice at the Nasseau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY starting next month from November 14th through the 19th. The show will be "Princess Classics". I'm looking forward to see it.

I'm not a Disney Princess fan especially with movies like "Snow White", "Cinderella", "Sleping Beauty" and others including the DVD I bought last week was "The Little Mermaid". My neices loved the Disney Princess, not me.

I've never been to Disney on Ice before, but it's going to be my first time.

Oh that would be a cool show to see. I've seen both "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King" stage shows, but I've never seen anything "on ice" before.

If ever you get the opportunity to see The Lion King, do it. The price of tickets are well worth the experience you get. The show is absolutely amazing!!

I saw Peter Pan on ice as a kid and it was awesome. My mom used to take me to every Disney On Ice show that came around, as well as The Wizard of Oz and The Nutcracker on ice. Peter Pan and Beauty and the Beast were the best ice shows I've ever seen. It was so cool when Peter and the Darling children were flying. They had fog on the ice to simulate clouds and it was all in front of a London backdrop. They had a pirate ship that would roll around the ice. It was awesome. I highly reccomend it. If it's touring near me, I just might go see it for nostalgia sake and because it's my favorite Disney movie.

I saw Disney World on Ice when I was around 7 or 8 (maybe even 9) because the show came to my city. When I saw the commerical on TV, I begged my parents to go. It was an awesome experience!

I remember when waiting in line to get inside, there was a guy selling tour programs, so we bought one. I opened it up and saw a picture from one of the shows that scared me so much that I didn't even want to go inside anymore! It was a huge robotic Ursula that was running around all over the ice. Of course, I went in and ended up loving every minute of it.

I remember seeing Peter Pan on ice a long time ago. I think I was six years old at the time.

I'm Going to See Disney on Ice in November

Post by musicradio77 »

Next month, my brother and I are going to the Nasseau Coliseum in the Uniondale section of Long Island to see a show on Disney on Ice called "Princess Wishes". I don't buy Princess stuff which is for girls, I love the Princess in movies like "Snow White", "Cinderella", "The Little Mermaid", "Aladdin" and a few others. This is one great show to see. I will post my own trip report after I'm going to see Disney on Ice next month. I'll keep you posted as soon as I'm going. Here is the link to where I'm going.

Sad News About My Trip to Disney on Ice

Post by musicradio77 »

Speaking of my trip, I got really sad news to tell. I called my mom today that I'm not going to see Disney on Ice this year, because it's not going to happen. :( I decided to move forward to another show.

I was calling my mom on the phone, that I saw a TV commercial during the local news that the show is going to be at Madison Square Garden from December 6th to the 30th of this year. My guess will be "Annie". Yep! "Annie" is the show and it's a Broadway revival stars Katie Lee Gifford as Miss Hannigan. That would be great to see it. It's going to be at the Garden. I hope we can get tickets to see it. I hope I'm looking forward to see the stage version. I haven't seen the stage musical of "Annie" before, this is worth a try. :D

My brother will be focus on becoming a police officer for the NYPD. I don't want to be a police officer in that matter, because it's too dangerous.

I got this link for the Garden to see "Annie" on stage, here it is.

The old Disney On Ice shows

Post by Big Disney Fan »

Does anyone remember when the ice shows got started or what the shows were about? I think the first time I ever been to such was in 1987, when they had Snow White. My most recent sighting of the show was when I saw Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey. I kinda liked the intro with Big Ben and the bobby (that's a British policeman), because three years ago, I actually was IN England as part of a trip to Europe to celebrate the end of high school. The other three countries I visited were: France (and yes, I managed to squeeze in a few hours at Disneyland Paris), Switzerland and Italy.

I'd like to go to another one, but I've only been to one myself, back when I was a kid (in the 80s). It was Pinocchio. Very cool!

I just saw the new Princess Classics one a couple of weeks ago in the UK. As the Princess movies are generally my favourites of the Disney movies, I absolutely loved this. It featured Mickey and Minnie introducing it, and then had 2 or 3 numbers each from Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Snow White and ended with a complete telling of Cinderella before all the Princes and Princesses came out again - as wedding guests of Prince Charming and Cinders.

Very well produced. The costumes were amazing and the whole show was magical. I'll definitely be going again to next year's show.

You never gone to any other one since Pinocchio? Too bad. You don't know what you're missing. They're all cool. Is there an ice rink in your neighborhood? I have one: Arco Arena.
