It's Disney's own fault a lot of its movies are box office bombs….There is zero promotion of the film here(as in the rest of Europe it seems) and it even uses 'Project T' as title, due to the fact that Tomorrowland is a festival in The Netherlands and people could get confused -.- I wonder what the promotion will be like in Spain, since they filmed scenes in Valencia….

Our local newspaper review of "Tomorrowland" had the headline - "Even George Clooney Can't Save This Underdeveloped Movie"

We all went to see it as a family and like the film. The story is a little loosely jointed, but the second and third acts will rock your world. Disney scores again with a live action movie that will be a big money-maker for the company, in my opinion.

Yeah... this movie was a mess.
It's been 12 hours since I've seen this movie, and I honestly can't recall that I saw it, it's that bad. Left 0 impression on me.

I understand that some people like it though, which is good for the movie, but don't expect it to be successful at the box office. All the kids at my showing were restless and left the movie halfway through because they got bored.

This movie needed more Tomorrowland, and less underdeveloped aspects. Hough Laurie was a complete waste and that ending was cringeworthy. Same goes for the opening. The creators of this movie were probably confused when making it.

Another miss from Disney's live-action department. Will they ever make a good live-action movie? We'll have to see.

I finally saw 'Project T', as the movie is called here, yesterday. It was allright. Not terrible, but also not as amazing as I wanted it to be.

The movie looked amazing. Great use of CGI. It felt like the Tomorrowland from the theme park.

The acting was also good, especially from the girl portaying Athena. I'm usually not a fan of child actors, but she did great! Clooney and Robertson also gave good perfomances and it was fun to see a girl as the 'savior' instead of a boy like in a lot of films.

The story started out started out exciting and promising, but halfway through it started to drag a little. The climax was also not as epic as I wanted it to be, but I didn't hate it.

Overall I would give it 6.5 out of 10 stars. However, I'll be seeing it again soon (with different friends) so maybe I'll like it more the second time after knowing what to expect

The climax/ending was definitely disappointing and kind of dull. I liked all of the buildup though. The effects were great, the performances charming and funny, and they captured the essence of the Tomorrowland in the parks. It just didn't come together at the end to be a GREAT film, but I thought it was solidly good. Loved the Small World part.

You can definitely feel Brad Bird's hand in this (a good thing in my book)

I really enjoyed it. I liked the story, it was sort of what I thought 'Lost' was going to be about rather than what it turned out to be in the end. The runtime was 2 hours and ten minutes but I thought that it was paced pretty well. My 7 year old got a little anxious at the length and some of the action scenes were a little intense for her. She seemed to really enjoy it by the end though, saying that she would like to travel to Tomorrowland.

I can see how some could be a little disappointed about some of the plot twists but I actually found them to be pretty cool. I definitely would buy this on Blu-ray and would love to get my hands on one of those pins!

Currently, the Rotten Tomatoe's score for this is exactly 50%, with no pull on either the positive or negative side. Wow, talk about polarizing.

I think that the film's main problem is that it saves the best for the beginning, and then just clumsily meanders on towards the credits as though someone wrote a brilliant premise, pitched it to Disney, but forgot to write a satisfying ending. I feel as though this premise would have worked better as a high-budget cable TV show. That, or as the start of a franchise, like John Carter was supposed to be.

Honestly, I can dismiss most of the film's narrative faults if a sequel was in production, but alas, the box office will probably tell Disney otherwise. My local theatre only has 4 showings of it today, on a Sunday. For a big budget Disney film in its opening weekend, that's not good, at least for my theatre. In comparison, this theatre still has 8 showings of Pitch Perfect 2 today.

I still recommend this film though, because I loved some of the ideas, even if not all of them paid off. Plus, it was gorgeous and well-acted.

^yeah it's pretty incredible how perfectly polarizing it is. I loved it. Yes, it's absolutely flawed as film - but this is a movie where I can choose to ignore those flaws because what I DO love about it just that great. It's a shame it won't do well.

For the record, the audience I saw it with was eating it up. Kids laughing and screaming with excitement. Definitely no walk outs.

I don't know how I feel about the film. I kind of liked it. I kind of didn't. My wife and kids loved it. And like SWillie's experience, the packed stadium theater we went to seemed to love it as well.

I don't know about other areas, but there are about 12 showings each day at our closest theater.
