^ I think Bree was crying because she realized what she had said on the radio show, and realized that her husband is going to be angry for a while.

Tonight's episode was pretty funny! The Porter/Lynette storyline was sad. I feel so sorry for Porter, but I would be creeped out if my mom or dad was talking to me on facebook pretending to be a classmate.
I thought it was sad, too. I'm glad they're giving the twins' hearts though. He was actually kind of sweet.

Susan was pretty interesting, but Mike's a bit of an ass now--when he threatened to take her back to court: :evil: . And, yeah, the toe fetish comment was kind of disgusting.

I felt sorry for Orson and Bree. I can understand both sides, and I think Bree was only crying because she's kind of in the marriage out of loneliness and not love. So Orson did go to jail for what he did? How did he get out so soon?

Gabrielle was hilarious as usual and I was kind of amazed to see her vaccuming. Eva Longora plays mother so well. And I can't wait to see her fight with Teri Hatcher next episode--that'll be hilarious! :lol:

Divinity, in season four, Bree said that she would only forgive Orson if he went to jail for five years. Obviously, five years has passed, so the first time we saw Orson this season, was probably only a few weeks after he got out. Did that make sense? :P

I think it's because Orson seemed so cold and indifferent to her feelings since she told him she was really tired. She is starting to realize that what they once had is fading away. What surprised me though is that Bree chose to "obey" Orson's demand (even though she had promised him, Orson was very dictatorial in the way of expressing his feelings) instead of refusing and throwing a line like "make your own f****ing pot roast!". It contrasts with the dynamic Bree we've met in the fist episode of the season that does not take crap from any guy. What's your take on that?

Anyway, i really liked the new episode. It had a very solid storyline, characters were given an additional level of complexity that at the same time are open to a whole new range of possibilities. I liked the emotional brushstroke with Carlos and Gaby (I do hope Gaby realizes what Carlos is saying someday and stop complaining and being thankful for all she has)

I really felt sorry for Mrs. McCluskey. She seemed so vulnerable and lonely. :( What Edie's husband does (can't remember his name :P )by cunningly and underhandedly extorting his victims to force them into complying with his wishes is just terrible but yet so poignant in terms of contemporary human relations. He is creepy but not that enigmatic since his behavior was somewhat explained in the first episode.

Can't wait for more. This series is so addictive. Can't get enough! :D

soltris, I think Bree did what she had promised, even though it was past midnight, was because she was afraid of losing him again, and becoming lonely.

That's my point--you only go to jail for five years for attempted murder? :o

If the victim does not press charges (which Mike probably didn't) it is possible i think.

This episode is hilarious!

Katherine: "Oh well, we can still drink, can't we?"

Mrs. McCluskey: (handing her glass over to Katherine) "Oh yeah!"

LOVE IT!

Seriously, this episode was full of great lines!!!

You know what? I think they should release a book filled with Mary Alice's ending narrations, dating all the way back to season one! This is always my favorite part of the show. :-)

Bree and Danielle's reunion was great

"He's six and already reads at a third grade level"

"Well, what happens next year when he overtakes you":lol:

That was a great line. This episode was full of them, as tsom said. Great episode, really. I am really interested in this mystery with Dave. I just hope Karen McCluskey doesn't pay for her suspicions in the end. I really like her, and I don't want to see her dead.

Susan: I've got booze.

Gabi: Come on in!

'MJ could get beaten up by a kitten'

I was thinking about it, and I love Mrs. McCluskey! I'm sure she'll be all right.

You know, I wasn't really sure how I'd like this season based on the first episode, but I really think this is turning into a great season. This episode was fantabulous. It was just so good. The only thing I thought was kind of stupid was the idea of dad band on Wisteria, but Paul and Lynette's encounter was definitely well-acted and -scripted enough to make that storyline enjoyable.

And I thought Bree was a little over-the-top, but I defintely think that was understandable considering.

I remember that, when the first season began, that everyone was excited that there was a show about "older women" that revealed that they had lives to. But, really, this is the first season where I've felt they've actually given us characters who are 'older' and are still exciting (overweight Gabrielle, grey-haired Susan and grandma Bree).

A new episode airs tonight at 9/8 Central! Here is the summary:

Back in Business

* Series Episode: 91
* Season: 5
* Episode: 4
* First Aired: 10/19/2008
* Prod Code: 504

Bree's new cookbook and entrepreneurial success has the women of Wisteria Lane feeling envious. Lynette's longing for a taste of her breadwinning days as an ad-exec leads her to lend an unsolicited hand to Bree's marketing plan. MJ's drawing of a family portrait has left Mike feeling like he's not a presence in his son's life. Gaby hatches a plan to have more sex with Carlos. Susan teaches a reluctant MJ how to fall. Meanwhile, Dave's motives for moving to the neighborhood continue to take shape.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking forward to it, and learning what Dave has planned!

Bree is really pissing me off. She is alienating her husband, and her friends. Especially her friendship with Lynette. Sure, she may not agree with Lynette's advertising approach, but, she doesn't have to be so cold about it. Lynette was right, even though she was drunk, but, when Lynette was the high-powered executive, she didn't look down upon Bree, or any of her friends.

I hope Bree will wake up, and see what she is neglecting, or she will lose what really matters most!
