So did anyone who ordered this book get it yet? I keep getting e-mails from Amazon.com that there has been a delay in delivery, with the question if I like to keep my order open. Latest message was that the delivery date is now estimated to be between 25 June and 5 August! Keep my finger crossed that there will not be another delay.

I'm really not trying to be rude, but... the title of the thread is Disney's Neglected Prince: New Book.
Do you bother to read anything before you post?
"Hip hop frightens you, doesn't it....Hmmm...Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate. Hate leads to endlessly posting threads about stupid white people. Hmmmmm....."
I just did a search on Chapters/Indigo's site and it said it was temporarily unavailable to order.
The book was supposed to come out April 28th, but leave it to Disney to screw up another book release. I hope it's not for the sake of some stupid synergy like adding more info about Prince Naveen.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was. When I went to Epcot on the 28th looking for the book, nobody in The Art Of Disney or Mouse Gear even heard of it or knew that it was in the works, and their computers turned up nothing. Didier Ghetz also confirmed earlier on his Disney books blog that he heard from the company it was cancelled or postponed until later. I wouldn't be surprised though if they're just holding it back about a year or so, so they can include Naveen and Flynn.
I hate when Disney does this with their books. The Art Of Walt Disney World was being touted to be released two years ago, and only just two months ago was it released in the parks, and Disney Imagineering Legends was delayed two years as well before it was even released! And Surrell's updated version of The Haunted Mansion: From The Magic Kingdom To The Movies was due out last year, but now it's being pushed back to August 14th of this year. Apparently Disney can never stick to a book release date, so this doesn't surprise me at all.
Yeah, the website I usually order things from have it listed as coming out April 2010. I e-mailed them to ask if it was some kind of mistake, and they sent me back the standard "You're an idiot--shut up!" response.
I don't mind if it's been delayed, but a whole year?
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"
Just got a message from Amazon.com: my order of "Disney's neglected prince"was cancelled! Amazon just cound't get it! Anyone has any idea if this book will ever become available?

Talking about 'neglected"!
I really hope Disney is just holding it back now to include Naveen and Flynn in the book and haven't just abandoned this all together. It's time the Disney men received their due as well.
'The art of Disney's neglected prince' is now available for pre-order at Amazon.co.uk. If all is wel, I will get the book about May 5.
Strangely enough, Amazon.com from the USA still cannot tell when the book will come out.
Thought it may be handy for those interested to share this information here.

Apparently the book has been cancelled. On amazon.com it is not listed but only as currently unavailable while although amazon.co.uk offers it for pre-order, I think it's just a glitch. The date that is to be released on amazon.co.uk is 28th of April 2010 which is the same date only a year later that the book was to be released in the US. I tell you that when that date comes, amazon.co.uk will also list the book as unavailable.

I wonder if this book will ever eventually see the light of day. I know it's probably a longshot that it might be released this year, but I'm still crossing my fingers hoping!

Just hope it isnt' true, but we will see.
Jus as I've predicted: the book has indeed been either cancelled or shelved. It is listed as "currently unavailable" on both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk.

Then the princes remain truly neglected, unfortunately.
