Not sure how long it has been up (hehe) but the first real trailer can be found right here…

Just scroll over to the Up button and the trailer should play after a few seconds.
So have I just been out of the loop, or is this actually new? I haven’t seen it posted on any websites, including this one.

not exactly what i was expecting, but the trailer doesn't really show much in terms of plot. both the old man and the boys character design is kind of annoying, almost as if they were just trying to get laughs by making a silly looking grumpy old man and a stereotypically chunky little boy. i'm not going to make any judgement until i see a more plot driven trailer

Thanks, magicalwands!!! The first time I clicked the link, it didn't have the section on the page that has the >> on it...it must've loaded funny.
Anyhoo, the teaser trailer made it seem like Carl is a nice old man (and he probably does become less grumpy over the course of the movie)...
I really liked the balloons, and when they showed the little girl with pigtails, my first thought was that her hair was like Mickey ears. And then in the next scene, the lady on the left reminded me of Mrs. Incredible.
I'm not blown away yet, but I thought that the opening part of the trailer was very cool. I know that it'll be a great movie, but I guess I'll just need to see more about it...!
Thanks for posting it, Mushu!

I haven't seen this trailer. I'll wait a couple of weeks for it to be on Wall-E Blu-ray.
But just to please 'Bod, I have indeed vomited. HAPPY NOW 'BOD?

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Cute trailer. I think I'll like Russel and Kurt (I think those are their names...)
My only complaint is that it seems to have taken a step backwards animation-wise from Ratatouille and Wall-E. These last two features had a large jump forward in terms of realism, especially in their backgrounds. Things looked less sterile. Up kinda looks like Chicken Little to me.... maybe it was an artistic decision though.

Thanks, Barbossa, for posting that link. I was having trouble viewing it on the other link, too. Anyway, I think it looks like a fun movie. I love some of the details like the tennis balls on the bottom of the old man's cane and his hearing aid. In the scene where the little girl is looking out of her window as the house floats upward, you can see that ball from the Luxo Jr. short.
That was a fantastic trailer. The first half of it with the house taking off gave me goosebumps, and the second half with Carl and Russell has great comedic timing. Considering the director and writer of my top two favorite Pixar films (Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.) are both directing this, I've got high hopes, especially since it also combines two of my favorite things: flight and balloons.
Oh, and Netty really is going to barf when he sees the first 30 seconds or so (no need to do it again for me, though!), even if I'm a sucker for things like that.
