I'm going out of town for 10 days as of tomorrow, so if anything arrives, don't be concerned if it's not acknowledge until I return, as I likely won't know till than...

hmm its hard to tell i think we might need some experts to outline the situation

do we have a doctor in the room that can help analyze loomis

i feel for ypu pal even if everyone looks at you like some freakish expirement youstill haveyour pride and msybe some other things and thasts all that matters right

I'm back everyone, as of late last night (I wish I was still on vacation!). Hope you guys had an awesome holiday and New Year!

I won't be able to check anything until later this afternoon, when the rest of my family comes home... but I'll be sure to post my thank you's later today... I should prob go unpack now. I had the absolute worst flight of my life last night, what a horrible end to an amazing vacation. I hate custom officials.

Oh, and I knew it was you all along MMB!!

Thanks Luke, the trip was amazing -- best new years ever! I was shopping with my gf one night at the Bal Harbor mall and we ran into Adrian Brody while we were in line trying to get reservations at this Italian restaurant and we ended up chilling with him and some friends at a club in South Beach, it was so much fun. We went swimming with dolphins which was soo damn cool, went to a million crazy restaurants and bought a bunch of dvd's (Dumbo, Apocalypse Now, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Doctor Zhivago box-set, Ichi The Killer, etc), found a really rare out-of-print Main Source lp at this used record shop in Hollywood Beach and got a pair of super fresh 81 converse that Ive been trying to find for 2 years now! It was such a fun vacation, the weather was hot and beautiful every single day... and now I'm back to gloomy grey skies and cold slush covered streets. I wish I was still in Florida!!

The flight back was insane... I don't think I can accurately depict my experience through text...

Departure was supposed to be at 11 am so I got the airport around 9 in the morning and because of the high-security, only ended up getting through baggage check at noon which would've been bad if my flight hadnt been delayed until 1 am! The airport was so ridiculously overcrowded that they had passengers line up single-file all the way outside and around 2 blocks. I never saw anything like it in my life!

I finally got checked in and boarded the plane after over 3 hours of standing in poorly vetilated overpacked rooms, only to be stuck in a middle seat between an enormous black woman who just happened to be the only person on the entire flight who decided to pack her own lunch in a tupperwear container which just happened to consist of the most disgusting putird fart smelling mashed up eggs and who's giant mutant elephant legs were taking up 3/4 of my seat space, and an old man with bad breath who fell asleep snoring with his face on my shoulder. I felt like shooting myself in the face, it was the longest 3 hours of my whole life!

Oh and on top of it - I overpaid for a discount airline since I booked last minute, so it ran me nearly $1000 Can for return airfare and they ran out of food right before they got to my aisle so I didnt eat a thing until 6 that evening!

We finally landed and as you can imagine I was not in the most pleasant disposition. All I wanted to do was get home and crawl into a hot shower and fall asleep, but not yet... the lady at customs decided to bring me into a back room and harass me for 30 minutes while rummaging through all my neatly-packed luggage and questioning me about the origins of every single tube sock I owned. I lost my temper and we ended up getting into a huge drawn-out argument which ended with them entering me into their computer system as a "problem traveler" making me liable to random baggage checks at every airport in the country. Great.

Anyways, thank god that's over.

All in all it was more than worth it though, I had such a fun time and I think we're gonna plan a trip to DisneyWorld this March if the schedule's work out with exams, etc.

Anyone have any exciting New Year's stories to tell? (I ended up hanging out with family at the beach watching some fireworks and fell asleep before the ball dropped!)

Oh and I just spoke to my mom who's landed and is home now and she says I've got a bunch of packages waiting for me in my room so I'm gonna shoot over there now and see what great presents I've got from my secret santa!
