Hey guys, sorry if it seems like I abandoned this thread after I created it!

Anyway, been down since Wednesday, but did little posting on UD (I think I made like...5-10 since then). If everyone's up for a cheap lunch but still with a Disney setting, we can all easily meet at Downtown Disney and have some good ole Earl of Sandwich. :D

That could work, although every time I go into that sandwich place I'm reminded of how much I miss Gourmet Pantry. :(

Earl of Sandwich sounds great...it's cheapish, and I haven't eaten there in about 3 years.

And, just a question...my husband may be interested in hanging out with all the UD members when we hang out...he's not a UD member, though...would you guys mind if he hung out with us? He's a Disney fan!
(I just told him I asked on here, and now he says he might not want to...)

Well, when I'm down there I'll be on vacation with my boyfriend and I surely don't plan to ask him to wait outside the restaurant while I eat lunch (although that might be kinda funny...hm..) So I'll be inviting him to come along as well. He may choose to go do something else, but I doubt it.

The point of my ramblings is that I don't think anyone would have a problem if you brought someone along with you :D Especially another Disney fan! The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned!

Make him register for UD and become an official member, otherwise he's not invited!

Okay, so it's settled, Earl of Sandwich is a good place to meet? We all in accord? We all concur and all that other good stuff?

I just found out that goofystitch and I both are off this coming Wednesday (May 30), and I know that's pretty soon, but if anyone can make it on Wednesday, that can be the first UD Summer Union! (It's a union, cause you gotta meet once in order to have a REunion later! :P ).

If this Wednesday is no good for some peeps, remember we've got the rest of the year to figure this thing out. :D

Kidding! Of course he can join, he's a UD-in-Law!

Well.. I'll be there with you in spirit! Although isn't Reyquilla visiting around now? Maybe you could meet up with him!

OT: How are things going down there Escapay? Are you liking the job you have this year? If you see any kids wearing heelys, give em a shove for me! :D

I want to hang out tomorrow! Last week, my boss left early to go to WDW (his family's "tickets" weren't working...), and I don't get paid, and I'll just work more next week...lemme know what time to be there, and I'll be there!

I'm so excited, since my hubby won't go on a lot of rides, and if I can go on rides with people, I'm thrilled! And, it'll be cool to meet you! :)

This is my first post since I've lived in Disney World. Anyways, Earl of Sandwich is fine by me especially since I've never eaten there before.

I'm a Main Street park greeter/parade audience control and I have the authority to make them remove the wheels from their shoes. If they claim they don't come out, I am able to tell them that a room key easily pops the wheels out and if that doesn't work, there are screwdrivers at the stroller rental under the Train Station. If they still won't, I get to inform them that Orange County PD does write tickets as high as $500 for having roller blades in an enclosed park.
I'm currently watching and reviewing every Disney film in chronological order. You can follow along at my blog, The Disney Films, and also follow me on Twitter.

I'm hoping that either goofystitch or Escapay will write back before 8am (fat chance)...so then I don't have to go to my internship today, and I can go to WDW! BUT, I work across from Universal, which isn't far from WDW, so, if you guys pick a time, I can be there, anyway!...I really want to go & not sit in an office all day...!!! :)

I hope you're enjoying Disney Goofystitch! I'm happy that at least you're checking for wheels. From what I undersand, alot of people don't :( I'm pretty short and I've been knocked down by kids wearing them a fair number of times. I'm hoping by Sept things will be under control!

BC85, calm down!

I woke up like...10 minutes ago, and got a voicemail from goofystitch saying that he and his roomies are going to DAK today. Gotta give him a call because one of my roomies and I are gonna hang at DisneyQuest (partly to go and partly to heckle one of our other roomies, hehehe...)

I pm'ed you, check it asap.

Hey guys,

I'd really like to gettogether sometime, the only problem is this thread often gets shuffled into the back of my mind, so Escapay, if you could call me (I PMed my cell number, if that's okay) if something official goes down, I'd really appreciate it. :)

Cheers,
JM :thumb:

P.S. If I came, I'd likely come with one of my best friends since my mother's gone and my dad's working, he'd be my only source of a ride.
Cheers,
JM :thumb:

Escapay asked me to post this. It's a picture of the first UD Union so that we can have a reunion later.

From left to right, me (goofystitch), blackcauldron85, and Escapay. I had a lot of fun. We should meet up again sometime.
