It's a shame the lighthouse had to rust away, just like Trara from Gone With The Wind did.

btw Flanger-Hanger, where did you find out that the lighthouse from the movie was moved from the hill back to the studio lot and that an attraction was going to be made from Pete's Dragon?

Well, Tara never really existed sine it was Selznick's home with a painted-on roof for the movie, so there was nothing to rust. I don't know what happened to the house though, if you meant that.

Tara was built on the 40 acres lot, the same lot where The Andy Griffith Show was filmed.
