Yeah, but "Penny and Me" didn't hit radio as a huge hit until 2005, which I think gets the credit for their comeback. :)

That's weird...I lived in Massachusetts when "Penny & Me" and the Underneath album came out, and then I moved to Florida soon after...I heard "Lost Without Each Other" on the radio one time, but radio stations in MA & FL rarely play Hanson. "Penny & Me" was heavily rotated on MTV in 2004, before the CD came out, though. And I know that for a fact!

Yeah, radio can be really weird. A song can be a big hit in half the country and go unplayed in others. By the time they climb to the top spots nation-wide, most people are already sick of them. One of the many reasons that music radio needs a major overhaul. It gets even weirder for a band not typically seen as hip, distributed by an independet record label. It was already getting play in 2004 around here too, if I recall (I'll take your word on MTV, as I never watch it). Amazingly, it actually debuted on the Billboard Hot 200 in early 2005. I found a news report from the time that says MTV put it in their "Power Rotation" (you probably know more about this than me) at that time too (so they were probably playing it a lot before and stepped it up when it debuted at #2). http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stori ... 422&EDATE= Unfortunately, "Lost Without Each Other" didn't even chart in the US. It's a good song but I think "Strong Enough to Break" would have been a better choice for a single.

I wonder how "Strong Enough to Break" would have done as a single...LWEO was the song I actually did hear on the radio...as far as Hanson songs go, the more upbeat, the more widely accepted ("MMMBop", "Where's the Love", "This Time Around", especially "If Only", and "Penny & Me", versus "I Will Come To You", "Weird", "Save Me" (not really a single, but they made a video for it, only shown online)). I think that "Get Up and Go" or "Crazy Beautiful" would have made really good singles. I love all the songs on the album, but I think those two would have been widely accepted. But, "Deeper" or "Misery" are amazing, and I think, given the right promotion, could have done well.

wasn't Willa Ford in "The Country Bears"? I liked that movie too bad they don't have it in Widescreen..... or I would support Netty in the cause!

Doctor Who: Blood of the Daleks Pt 2

"The crashed ship. The one Tom Cardwell saw all those years ago... And you borrowed some of its technology, didn't you? Maybe even found a Dalek or two in the wreckage. Dead, but intact... And you began to turn human beings into creatures like them. You did that? I'm right, aren't I?"

*sigh* More Daleks from humans by the sounds of it.... just like in Revelation of the Daleks, The Parting of the Ways and the audio Terra Firma. It's not an original idea anymore, but the series seems to be stuck on it for some reason. I don't really know why, as thats the the whole reason the show invented the Cybermen!

Oh well, Pt 1 was well scripted and produced, so I'm looking forward to hearing Pt 2 (I'll probably put it on my MP3 player tonight). New compantion Lucie Miller is funny!

Yay! I love Hanson! And, I came here to see if anyone bought the Ashley Tisdale CD- is it good? I have Vanessa Hudgens' CD, and I like that. I might buy Ashley's...Also, I was wondering if anyone bought Jordan Pruitt's CD?
