It's been awhile since I watched the disc, but after skimming UD's review, I noticed that there are no featurettes about the voice cast. There's stuff about background, story, action sequences, multi-language stuff, but no interviews with the voice cast (Ming-Na, BD Wong, Eddie Murphy, etc.)rexcrk wrote:Wait what do you mean by that?Disneykid wrote:

It's supposed to come out next year as well, but not as a part of the Platinum Edition line. That's still coming out in '08.numba1lostboy wrote:That makes no sense...I thought it was coming out early next year...

Are they making a Peter Pan III AND the Tink flick or is the Tinkerbell and the Ring of Belief going to be considered the third Peter Pan movie?

What happened to Disney producing quality animated films? (see Chicken Little)
What happened to Disney releasing classics with 2-discks (see Tarzan, The Emperor's New Groove, Dumbo, and the Fox and the Hound)?
What happened to a Disney Channel that wasn't centered around "tweens"?
What happened to Toon Disney Channel that actually had older Disney cartoons on it?
What happened to Disney's sense? (see Song of the South, Only Yesterday)

What happened to Peoplemover: The Movie?!?! You'd think Disney would do so after the success of Pirates!

Well assuming we were watching the movie, a quality animated film from Disney for me would be right in front of my eyes.castleinthesky wrote:What happened to Disney producing quality animated films? (see Chicken Little)

Pshaw! Who wants to see Peoplemover: The Movie??? Now, if they were doing something more exciting like Monorail: The Movie, I might be inclined to watch it! How about Splash Mountain: The Movie? Oh wait, that's Song of the South.Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:What happened to Peoplemover: The Movie?!?! You'd think Disney would do so after the success of Pirates!
its' a small world: the movie (all in lowercase, lol)
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe: The Movie (I can actually imagine this, a sci-fi comedy by Disney since they didn't fare so well with Hitchhiker's Guide)
And probably the best idea of all:
ALIEN ENCOUNTER: THE MOVIE

What happened to the following proposed Disney films?
The Search for Mickey Mouse:
Mickey Mouse becomes lost and gets searched for by some characters, the names of which escape me at the moment.
The Snow Queen:
The classic fairy tale of an over dramatic diva made of ice comes to life.
Fraidy Cat:
The adventures of a neurotic cat who can't be considered as something that could be sold in the Disney Store, thus leading to his demise.
Aida:
Ancient Egyptians put on a very serious stage musical.
That's Such a Raven Movie!
Starring Tom Cruise as Raven (since Raven has too much time on her hands with all the constant episodes of That's So Raven).
Jungle Cruise:
Set in Africa during the First World War, this is essentially a remake of The African Queen.
The Nightmare Before Easter:
DTV sequel to the cult classic.
Alice on her way to Wonderland:
A DTV midquel containing the full real time events in which Alice falls down the rabbit hole. The first all-CG sequel to a Walt-era classic.
The Enchanted Tiki Room:
Three teenagers on holiday in Polynesia find themselves in a strange room full of tiki statues and parrots. Includes several cameos from the cast of Lilo and Stitch (though mainly the latter title character). Starring Raven, Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney and Ashley Tisdale as the Dog.
Jesus Christ Superstar:
Animated version of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's glorified Passion Play. To be released under the Touchstone banner so Radical Fundamentalist Christians won't notice Disney made it.
King David:
The Prince of Egypt, only with the film concerning King David instead.
The Search for Mickey Mouse:

Actually, no. Even though a few years ago on a European schedule Peter Pan was slated for a 2008 release, it's been changed now. Disney's not going to release one edition of the film in 2007 and another in 2008. They only pull that kind of crap with new release movies like Narnia and Cars. The Peter Pan DVD we get next year (which may or may not be a Platinum) will be the definitive edition for the film until it's re-released in Blu-Ray in the distant future (we're talking 2012 at the earliest).Prince Ali wrote:It's supposed to come out next year as well, but not as a part of the Platinum Edition line. Oh yeah I defiantly want them to re-realease Peter Pan! especially since I got ripped off with a cheap bootleg!! graaahh haha but yeah i cant waite for one. Isnt Peter Pan the last of the Platinum Editions though?

Oh, okay.Disneykid wrote:The Peter Pan DVD we get next year (which may or may not be a Platinum) will be the definitive edition for the film until it's re-released in Blu-Ray in the distant future (we're talking 2012 at the earliest).
But if we do get that release next year, it won't be a Platinum Edition release. Unless they've changed it, Disney only releases two Platinum Edition DVDs per year.
