absoulutley revolting? I don't think so, far from it. But the first one did seem a lot better. I hope they are still toying around with it.

The Very Very first one, that was revolting.

But at least Aurora and Phillip were ON MODEL in the first version; the cover was just plain and needed to be more detailed and glossy. This one is detailed and glossy, but makes it look like Aurora and Phillip switched genders and Aurora has a rose coming out her nipple...

It still is revolting. I have a hard time looking at it. I'm happy with this one just because it looks nothing like the original one.

I bet you they just changed Sleeping Beauty so she can look like her Disney Barbie Doll - - down to the pink dress.

I like the second disc too. :) The faces on disc one and the cover art do not look right to me.

I like the UK and French cover art. As far as the US cover goes I like the version of Aurora and Phillip they used the original cover (with Phillip kissing Aurora). I wish they would use that version of Aurora and Phillip on top half and keep the dragon, etc., on the bottom as in the new cover art.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Phillip and Aurora actually look like Phillip and Aurora on the first cover. It shames me. I don't think disney ever does this film justice. I mean first they neglect to give this the platinum title, when there were just 10, but they made 101 Dalmations Platium  (luke you need to add a spitting emoticon) then they advertise this on the October 2002 released Beauty and the Beast, and delay the release to September 2003, almost a year later forcing fans to wait, and then the sickening disc on art, that could be a million times better and the equally horrible top half of the cover art. I really think they should take the picture of phllip and Aurora fromt the first one and put it on the top half of this one. Alas, oh well, I still can't wait to have this on DVD! Hope they do it justice with the special features and such.

P.S. I suppose that there is nothing wrong with 101 Dalmations, it just shouldn't have made platinum above Sleeping Beauty.

Prince Phillip - The (original, anyway) Platinum Collection was determined purely by sales numbers - they were Disney's top sellers from previous releases. So, the reason 101 Dalmatians made the first cut above Sleeping Beauty is, well, it sold better than Sleeping Beauty beforehand. But, both of them are in there now, so who cares what happened before?

Apparently a new bonus feature has been added to the R1 release:

"all new once upon a dream music video performed by no secrets!"

:(
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Goddman - ain't I upset that I bought the UK one now? :P

The madness should stop: enough with these mediocre, souless bands performing these songs.
Mind you if I had my way, they'd all be done by You Am I or Radiohead....

BTW, this seems to be the Australian cover art. Similar to the US, but it does have Maleficent in it.

I don't know how to upload an image so here is the link to the site selling it:

How quaint of them to think we needed a teeny bopper music video and a Princess Personality quiz (which is also "exclusive" to the R1 DVD) instead of an audio commentary hosted by either Roy Disney or John Canemaker.

It sounds like it is one of those 'Art Attack' segments from the Disney Channel. There is one on the first disc of the UK edition too.

It might be a different segment, or perhaps not as exclusive as we are being led to believe
