Glad to see it finally got to you. I was beginning to wonder about it. The tracking number showed it sitting undelivered at your post office on Dec. 8th. :santa:

Thank you very much, Pluto!

By the way, the ribbon was a nice touch. :)
You're welcome! I hope you hadn't already got it for yourself... I wanted to get you the Star Wars but since I know nothing about it and there are so many versions, I was afraid I would screw up and get the wrong one.

I got home from work today and was very happy to see a package from Amazon.com. Thanks to Tabbi AKA Disney Lover for the Toy Story 10th Anniversary DVD! :D

Also, my Secret Santa gift should be arriving to my person very soon. Hopefully it'll get there before Christmas.

Well I am late to this party - as usual not realizing there would be a thread about receiving our gifts - Unfortunately I work for myself as an appraiser which means I could be busy for weeks on end and work night and day 12 hours a day... then be off for a few days.... and thus have not been able to post at UD recently (I feel so out of the loop these days here!)

And boy I just do not know what to say because PAKA, really went beyond the call of a Secret Santa.... I am just SPEECHLESS with gratitude.... (drum roll please...) because Paka got me a most coveted WD TREASURES, SILLY SYMPHONIES TIN!!!!

Yes, it has one tiny dent on the edge but WHO CARES when it is a Silly Symphonies tin!!! Something I thought I would NEVER get in my whole life as it is so OOP to not even be considered or thought of to be added to my "want list."

So I don't know what to say, other than THANK YOU for such a thoughtful gift! Paka you read me right when you noticed that I had posted the "Timeless Tales" on my want list, to realize I would LOVE to have the Silly Symphonies Tin. I had just never thought it possible really to get any tin from the first wave, let alone a Silly Symphonies tin! Currently the oldest tin I have been able to buy "new" was the "Front Lines" tin (Wave 3) which I scoured the internet for, so this was such a wonderful and thoughtful gift - it defies words, really.

An added bonus was the handwritten letter from deathie mouse which was an explanation to one of my last cryptic technical questions on 2D vs. 3D vs. CGI - so thank you, Deathie!

Now I have to say this beats everything I know (and that I don't know about) that I am going to get for Xmas this year... even better than my Harold Lloyd DVD set that my husband bought me.... What a Christmas gift! What a Christmas! THANK YOU PAKA! :)

I love getting mail, so yesterday when I got home from college, I was delighted to see my Secret Santa package on the front porch! :santa: My Santa was RJKD23, and I want to say thank you so much for everything!!! :thumb: As I opened the box, I saw an adorable litte stuffed (baby!) Ariel! :ariel: You squeeze her, and she plays music and sings! I love her! :D As I looked further into the box, I saw something else. It was a little Ariel bag (it's very cute). But there was even more! I couldn't believe it when I pulled out The Legend of Zelda Animated Series on dvd! :o I was so happy I squeezed my little Ariel (to make the music play) and did a little dance around the living room!! When I was through, I picked up the box again, and it STILL wasn't empty!!! :D Enclosed was a five dollar Target gift card, a cupon for Disney dvds at Best Buy, and a nice Christmas card (the hand written comments were enjoyable to read!). I want to thank Krystal and Ryan (RJKD23) sooooo much for brightening my day with such a great package! :) I've been watching the Zelda show nonstop (brings back memories lol), and I keep squeezing my little Ariel! :ariel: The bag is on my doorknob with lipsticks in it. I want to wish you (and everyone who reads this post) a very merry Christmas/happy holidays!!! :santa: (I'll be on the forum more after my last final next monday) :D

Oh...and I sent my Santa gift last Monday....and still no reply.....I think my person took a vacation lol :P

They may not realize there is a thread that they are supposed to post in when they receive the gift. I was going to let my box sit until Xmas and then my husband thought I better let my secret santa know that I got it.... so finally I poked around here and saw this thread. They may be happily enjoying the gift and not even realize that you are awaiting word that it was received. Perhaps next year this info, that there will be a thread started to post that a gift was received, should be added to the Secret Santa info letter Luke sends out?

Just to let whoever my Secret Santa is know... my parents told me that a package for me has arrived at home. I'm assuming it's for Secret Santa, although I didn't want to know who it was from yet. I'll get it sometime this weekend!

Wow... I'm better than your husband? Go me!! :D

I'm so glad you liked the gift, Pluta! I really lucked out finding an unopened copy on eBay for a very decent bid price, but I was worried about that little dent (even though the item description said no dents... :x). I was also wondering whether you'd have snapped up an SS copy of your own, and my gift would just be redundant. :P But it all turned out quite well! ^_^ And frankly I wasn't expecting such a strong response from you! It really made my day to read your feedback, Michele. I'm glad I made your Christmas such a special one. :) Hope I was good ambassador for UD, too - considering you're fairly new. ;)

So enjoy your new WDT set! Like I mentioned in my letter, I recommend Mother Pluto - it's nothing short of adorable! The 1939 Ugly Duckling is quite cute, too. I'm glad you enjoyed deathie's letter - he wanted to contribute to the gift, and he likes your inquisitive nature in general! You're the perfect "apprentice"....

LOL! So... have a Merry Christmas, Pluta!! :santa:

Wait, so Paka and deathie know each other outside of UD? Is this something everyone else knows and I'm just out of the loop on? :?

Why else did you think deathie lived in Paka's closet for 3 months?

Be prepared for some longheld UD secrets, Aaron. We've been keeping these from you since you joined:

deathie is Paka's father. No, seriously, he is. And John Mayer is Paka's cousin.

Jane, Kram, and I are in fact NOT related. We just happen to live in New Jersey.

Also, Disney Guru is Luke's younger brother, Pals is their cousin, and Renata finally accepted Luke's proposal.

T/P fan and Prince Eric are just feuding brothers who like to banter on the boards because of a family vacation gone wrong four years ago that involved a buffalo, the family station wagon, and Prince Eric's gold foil wrapped Chocolate Oscar.

Loomis actually lives in Russia, not Australia.

Ryan likes to post pretending to be Krystal, SHE is the one who works at BestBuy, HE is the one who's obsessed with Audrey Hepburn.

I decided to post after lurking. But I think Escapay's post, plus the whole post from Kelly receiving her gifts gives me a good reason to take a break from studying! :p

Escapay, you weirdo! But that was funny...as always!

Glad that you received them Kelly! I was afraid it got lost or something! The ariel plush doll was the cutest thing when I saw it! And I definitely know what you mean about rewatching old cartoons! :D The memories!

Merry Christmas everyone! :santa:

You forgot to mention that I'm really a middle aged Brooklynite who's been stalking Jack for years. I kidnapped him a few month back, stole his password, and made that "I'm fine" post in May. He's in my closet right now, actually.

You see, I intentionally didn't 'mention that because a month ago while you were at the hardware store buying more duct tape, I was able to sneak in, get a lock of Jack-Jack's hair, and sneak out. The Jack-Jack in your closet now is a...(dramatic music)...CLONE! The real Jack-Jack is safe and sound in the Cayman Islands, having a margarita with Sunset Girl.

CJ: The other half of your gift has finally shipped from Amazon (how could they have been so low in stock on the item as to delay it when I ordered the blasted thing a week before they ran out?). Here's hoping you didn't already buy it in the gap between receiving your book and now...
