Seems play have Monsters Inc 2 Disc Collectors Edition in stock at only £8.49! I recommend to anyone that already has the 1 disc version to also get this, definatly worth it.

http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/HP/3-/10374 ... oduct.html

I doubt they'll have it for long either. :)

I bet they will, they've had it at that price since last year ;)

Anyway HMV (in store not online) currently have the 3 disc CE of Wizard of Oz for the insane price of £9.99.

Got my Chicken Little today from WhSmiths and they had an offer on.
When you buy any chart dvd you can get Chicken Little for £10.99 instead of £14.99 or whatever it is. Oh and you also get quite a nice Chicken Little egg cup free. Its his legs and body with the logo on, quite nice i think! :)

I decided to use the offer and get Fun With Dick And Jane so i could get CL a little cheaper! :D

Lizzie Mcguire Season 2

Post by waltmad »

Lizzie Mcguire season 2. although out of stock at the moment, Woolworths uk online are taking orders for this dvd at the ridiculous price of £4.99. A real bargain, especially as they sold season 1 at the special price of £10 before. :o Sorry, it is back up to £18 now :( Hope you got yours.

you can pay just under 15 quid (pounds) for this title every where EXCEPT Play & Blah who are doing it for £5.99. U.K. exclusive release, but at this price, worth the postage to send abroad :D(if you can play region 2)

Disneys Condor Man, Michael Cawford.

Post by waltmad »

Again if you can play region 2, Condorman is due out in uk on 21.08.06, yet still the only place i can find it listed is on Play at the very reasonable pre order price of £6.99. I have a perfect bootleg as it was not available, but will still buy it now its released, especially at this price :)

This weekend, and this weekend only (9-10 Dec) WH SMITHS is having a 25% off weekend

but its only 10% off DVDs

Still a 10% discount is better than a kick in the teeth.

Fly my prettys, fly. Fly down to WH Smiths this Sat and Sun!
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

This is essentially a re-post from another thread:

"I went into HMV two weeks ago (so don't expect what I say to be 100% accurate currently), and bought Ratatouille and the short films collection (I didn't know that it had actually been released separately...it's BVHE UK around 2003/4 all over again :P). The latter was only £8 (a good price, for whilst the shorts are very good, collectively their running time isn't long) and the former, being in the sale, was £10 (and had some fancy free postcards, which I believe are a "HMV exclusive"...how exciting!). It worked out quite cheaper than getting the Ratatouille/Pixar shorts boxset, and considering that I've just seen Amazon has Ratatouille currently for an even cheaper price (only by £2, but still), if anyone doesn't have either and wants them, then go to Amazon or HMV (if they've still got their sale on) and buy the two separately and not as a combo pack (which had been on my to-do list)."

Also gotta mention that Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is only £5 at the moment in HMV, and are similarly priced on Amazon and Play.
