We had Hamburger Helper Cheesy Hashbrowns for dinner. My husbands been working long hours so I didn't do much. It's his favorite hamburger helper meal...he hates the rest of them. For dessert we're going simple too....Blue Bunny chocolate bunny tracks ice cream :)

Aren't chiles really spicy? I like spicy food, but I don't go that far as to eat whole chile peppers.

I made a carrot casserole, which is a very tasty dish made with mashed carrots, onion, milk, sugar, butter, and cracker crumbs mixed together and baked for half an hour. It's not the healthiest vegetable dish (lots of butter and sugar), but it sure tastes good.

Today for lunch I made BF and I turkey melts (essentially grilled cheese with turkey in it) and tomato soup.

For dinner we had leftovers from last night- rice, black beans, chicken, cheese, sour cream and salsa in tortillas!

Just fried up onions with olive oil, sake  , rice vinegar, cayenne pepper, and soy sauce. I know, I put a lot of sauces in my food and my cooking is also extremely asian.

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, but I use sunflower oil instead of butter and usually a cup (metric) of chocolate chips. They're really yummy!

Oh and instead of using a muffin tray I use a casserole dish, so it's really like a giant muffin, but I wouldn't class it as a cake.

I baked a Peanut Butter Cream Pie. This was my first time ever making it, but it looked great, and I was eagerly awaiting my first delicious mouthful to conclude my dinner. Then my sister cut into it and the filling was competely liquid! Instead of cutting out wedges with a knife, we had to scoop it into bowls with a spoon, so it was really just like pudding with a crust. But it did taste excellent, regardless of its inconvenient consistency.

It took me four hours, but I made spider cupcakes for my mom so that she could bring them to work. She was supposed to help me, but my dad wanted her help with the car and other stuff outside, so I had to make them.

While I worked, I watched the last half of the American Girl movie from last year and the entire Phantom Of The Opera movie. (I don't know if you could call it 'watching' more like 'listening' to the movies as I worked)

Never again will I make these cupcakes.

I made "African Chicken-Peanut Soup" tonight to have a few meals premade for the week (I've got to pack both lunch AND dinner for the next two days!). It had a ton of stuff in it- sweet potatoes, onions, chicken, peanut butter, salsa, cumin, rice, black beans, chicken broth, red pepper, jalapenos, and some other stuff. Sounds very weird but actually tastes really good!

I had to mince the jalapeno... and my fingers are BURNING. I also just rubbed underneath my right eye and that's burning too.

I'm wearing latex gloves next time

Yesterday I made potato salad, which has to be the yummiest way potatoes can be served. Today I made green beans almandine, which I think is kinda tasty for such a quick, simple dish.
