I support you Lazario the Bigots have retook all the power in the US. Soon this dumb President will elect 2 judges to the supreme court with the sole intention of taking more of are rights away. God help anybody that tries to stand in the way of these bigots.

Isn't that the truth! Certain journalists have been fired from their job and placed on an invisible blackball list where they basically can't get another job as a journalist, or even a writer. Plus certain topics were banned from being published in many newspapers, such as anything to do with the 2004 election fraud. Any info on this has been restricted to online sites and blogs and such.

That is why I don't follow the mainstream US media. The media in this country our just a bunch of cheerleaders. I watch the BBC.

I'm not sure, what exactly is "trunpeting"?

That's a good idea.

When Clinton was President at least there was a sense of competition of media biases. People think that before Bush, the media was all or majorly liberal-biased. That's BS. Now that it's Bush it really has become a bandwagon that everyone is jumping on, every REMOTELY conservative-leaning news source/base has become strictly conservative. Hell, it is the best way to get money, isn't it? That's one of the main rewards promised to people who supported Bush, and speak well of the President.

People are just afraid to think for themselves anymore, it's easier to just follow the people who stole the leadership ID's and are using them to fool people into thinking they don't have to think, than it is to have one's own ideas. There are only a select group of people on the net these days who actually can think for themselves. There is a huge brainwashing campaign going on, and it's really underhanded and dirty. At this point, there is absolutely no excuse to believe in Bush anymore.

In fact, it boggles my mind why people would prefer a Republican anymore. Because of the Republicans in power now, religous zealots are condemning everything left and right. Not to mention the fear of terrorism is convincing people that we have more enemies WITHIN this country than outside of it. Leading to instances I've heard about, where American citizens who never thought they'd ever be suspected of any ties to terrorists (and have none) were taken to middle-eastern nations to be tortured for months, sometimes years at a time. Marathon Man-style.

Ah the BBC. I like the BBC News but sometimes it's so depressing at times. I like their news better than American News such as CNN but everything seems so dreary. (which it usually is but bleh)

Personally I like the CBC which is like middle ground of CNN and BBC I suppose. Too bad they are on strike.

Oh and welcome back Lazario. :)

Welcome back, Lazario.

Oh, and Henski, the BBC is only good for domestic news. If you're interested in evenhanded coverage of certain conflicts around the globe, it's about as biased as you get.

Here's a special NEWSFLASH for everyone, and I'll bold it so that nobody misses it this time:

I'm not leaving just because tiny people are attacking me

memnv went too far, said things to me that were really, REALLY not okay. So, all of you who came out to try and kick me now that I'm again not exactly in popular favor, can just shut up and go be petty elsewhere.

Seriously, who the hell do you people think you are? It's not okay with me in any way that you come into a discussion with real facts about someone else and turn it into a public attack on me. You're not allowed to ignore what memnv said to me just because you don't like me or what I've said.

I am, in a sense, protecting you all too. Face it, memnv said things that are not allowed to be said to ANYONE in this forum and so he must answer for them. You're saying it's a lesser evil just because you wanted them to be said to me, probably wanted to be the one to say half of them yourselves. That's not okay. Just because you don't like me, is no reason to ignore what he did.

And you, you know who I'm talking to, should be really ashamed of yourselves.

Or you could just take 5 months off and chill, like certain other posters that I won't mention.
