Now that you mention it, it IS rather Wonderlandish. Figures, huh? Thanks for the avatar compliment!AwallaceUNC wrote:That actually looks rather Wonderland-ish for some reason. I love the new avatar, btw. I've seen iPoppins before, but never iHatter.Disneykid wrote:Sonic Boom's my favorite one

This is the problem I run into. I want one of these cases, as well.
I have an InCase leather portfolio w/strap, which I love. I thought about one of these, for something different. Problem is, I have the black iPod nano. The cases on display have a white iPod nano. So, with the black, you are a little more limited.

This from the member who had weekly "What DVD should I buy this week?" threads in his early days...Alan wrote:by the way tepper420 I don't think you should ask OTHER people what color case to get. You should get the color case that YOU like, not what other people like. You're the who will own it...

Anyways, I love the urgency in the title of the thread. "PLEASE!!!! LOOK!!". Almost as if the iPod were on life-support and we needed to find the right cover for it, like a blood donor or something. But enough snark, I'd go for the Sonic Boom, simply because I love that blue color.

If they would print Mickey Mouse on the back of the new 100GB video iPod, I would totally upgrade and have one imported. But since it's only the nano, I'll keep my 60GB iPod photo. Thanks for sharing, though. That's really cool.
PixarFan2006, what don't you trust about iPod? With Apple care, they will fix any problems that arise within 2 years. My friend had one break and they gave him a new one. I've had mine for 3 years with no problems. It froze once and I had to reboot it, but it only took 5 minutes of my time. I don't see what's not to trust.

This sure looks nice, but I'd still prefer the normal version, if I didn't have an iPod yet.
But I really love the Apple iPod. It's easy to handle and iTunes is easy too. And the Apple music store is fantastic.
Plus, I've never had any problems with my iPod, whereas my friends have problems all the time with their non-iPods.
I think the iPod is really worth its money, and for a real Disney fanatic this is great.

What 100GB video model? I don't think Apple would bother introducing a new iPod Video at this point, after already coming out with the 80GB model... and they only really bothered with that because they could keep it the same size as the previous 60GB.goofystitch wrote:If they would print Mickey Mouse on the back of the new 100GB video iPod, I would totally upgrade and have one imported.
The next full-sized iPod will be whatever succeeds the current video, not an iPod video as we know it now.
The iPod certainly is easy enough to use, and I suppose iTunes is intuitive, but it seems to be a poorly-conceived (from a software engineering point of view) program... at least the Windows version is. I haven't used it on a Mac. It's just so sluggish compared to other, similar programs, even on a modern Core2 Extreme processor. Quicktime suffers from similar problems... it's a pity Apple doesn't pay as close attention to efficiency and speed as they do to making their products look pretty.Dottie wrote:It's easy to handle and iTunes is easy too.
It's extensive, but I'd be a lot happier if more than 1 of the Big 4 record companies agreed to allow their songs to be sold DRM-free. The DRM, in combination with the fact I prefer higher-than-128kbps quality files, have prevented me from ever actually buying songs off iTunes. All of the 3000-or-so songs on my iPod so far have come off CDs.Dottie wrote:And the Apple music store is fantastic.

Well, I'm resurrecting Alan's thread, because I, too, have a question. I have an iPod video, but I do not have a single clue how to put videos on there. I have some downloaded from LimeWire (I know, bad TSoD!!!), but I cannot figure out how to put them onto my iPod. Could anyone help? Thanks.
