So sassy female Olaf as portrayed by Anna Kendrick is a go?

Eddie Vedder who is the lead sing for the rock band Pearl Jam broke into a couple lines of the chorus from Frozen's hit song: Let It Go While in concert. Here's the snippet

Sounds like Anna and Elsa might be coronating into the Princess lineup this summer after all.

"Frozen" special event planned for Walt Disney World including royal welcome, sing-along, fireworks, and party

That's pretty much been the reason why I wouldn't want to visit Disney's theme parks these days (I've been to WDW once before when I was 9 years old, but I couldn't afford to go back there now anyway). I mean, am I really going to want to walk around there again and be surrounded by all kinds of characters and promotions wherever I go for CG movies that I hate? I wouldn't enjoy being there.

But at least their parks are never as bad as Universal Studios, which is hardly the same theme park now that it was in the 90's.

Oh, 2Disney. What are we going to do with you? :|

They're shoving Frozen down everyone's throats (C'mon, what they are doing is just absurd) not because it's CGI. It's because it's the most SUCCESSFUL Disney movie of all time.

Well, I think that all of the Anna and Elsa love in the parks is adorable. Not the 5 hour long queues for photos, but rather how enthusiastic everyone is about it. When I went to The Magic Kingdom for a day back in April, the amount of kids dressed as Anna and Elsa was countless. A group of teenagers in the queue in front of me for Space Mountain randomly began to sing Love is an Open Door out of boredom. I even met a grown woman in her 30s who began crying when Let it Go was projected on Cinderella's castle before the Wishes fireworks.

Now that's "Disney Magic" to me...just seeing people so into the Disney World experience, regardless of what they're so enthusastic about. I can't wait to see what the coronation will be like.

Why do people think Frozen is so overexposed? I really haven't seen anything about the movie since about February. Of course, it's still trouncing regular music artists in album sales. RIP Mariah, lorde, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Miranda Lambert, etc. :P

Well if you had a movie that you really hated yourself, would you really want to see it everywhere? I have to see it everywhere every time I come on the internet. I probably can't even hear the actual word "frozen" anymore without being reminded of that blasted film.

It's wonderful its been embraced so much by everyone ! But I don't want it to become too overexposed in everyones faces as Disney deems it so. As mentioned previously, over exposure could become an issue. Though that won't be an issue at the moment as everyone is still adoring the film. Just don't want it to come to a point where it might do.

Well, first EVERY single week, there is always some stupid cover of Let It Go on Youtube and some article on the movie. And now, it's going crazy in Disney World. The Hollywood Studios thing is taking it way too far

From what I can tell, the DHS explosion is currently a midway point the park is using until they're ready to start up their Star Wars expansion, and possibly more. As well as the quick tie-in they so obviously needed.

Yeah, see. I would hate being at Disney World today if that's what's going on over there. It sickens me.

yeah Disney is great at getting something that becomes a big hit for them & overdoing it, causing folks to get sick of it. Remember Lilo & Stitch? Remeber Pirates of the Caribbean? Remember what they did to Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

also this is kinda OT but anyone else have like zero interest in Guardians of the Galaxy? If you follow Marvel comics you know that theyve been pushing this thing like crazy! I cant help but think its gonna be the next John Carter/Lone Ranger.

Except that I liked Lilo & Stitch, but absolutely hate Frozen.

The only one of those I would consider examples of overexposure would be the articles, and those are becoming rare now. It would be huge in Disney World, not just because it was a big hit, but because it's the newest Disney film.

I think Frozen's safe for now. If the Broadway show and sequel come too quickly, I could see it happening.

we have school holidays coming up in a couple of weeks. one chain store started their toy sale today and we finally have a little frozen merchandise... dress ups and 7 different jigsaw puzzles. no dolls or plushies, no figurine sets or books, no stickers. was hoping to finally pick up an elsa doll, no such luck, so poor anna is alone on the shelf, except for tiana and charlotte. lol.

Is Elsa that much more popular than Anna you think? I mean from merchandise sales etc.

I guess she is. Most people tend to associate the movie with her than with Anna.
