Thanks for the info back on page 15, Joe!

Let's see, since I last posted here, I've watched...

The Muppet's Wizard of Oz - Thoughts posted in that thread
Mickey Mouse in Black & White - Check out the review ;)
Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama - Check out the review ;)

Sleeping Beauty - Pulled it out just to check on the look of the castle and ended up watching the whole thing. I'm always a sucker for SB. I loved it as always, of course. October better get here in a hurry because I need to see Cinderella and I'm not going VHS!

Newsies two nights ago... this was the second time I've seen in, and I LOVE this movie. It's really up there with Disney's best live-action musicals, imo (ok, it's not Mary Poppins, but you get my point). Definitely underrated. I'm glad it got such a good DVD release, and I'm hoping it gets more attention in the future.

Cadet Kelly (twice- one w/ commentary, one w/o). Review to come in the future.

I saw The Little Mermaid yesterday/this morning. It's still my favorite Disney film.

Earlier tonight I saw The Little Mermaid II. It's okay as always but nothing special... much like the television show.

Pete's Dragon - I could go on about how this is the best thing Disney has ever put out, but it would be nothing I haven't said before. :p One new thing this time: I watched it with a friend who had never seen it (same guy who saw Mary Poppins for the first time this year and didn't care much for it... he also watched Newsies with me in the above post for the first time, and he actually did like it). He calls Pete's Dragon "semi-charmed" - he said story was ok but songs were better... he seemed to like the acting. Sorry to ramble about my friend, I just always think it's interesting to see someone my age who didn't grow up with these movies see them for the first time and how they are received from that perspective.

Bring on the 2-Disc Pete's Dragon ASAP!

The Love Bug - It was funny and good. I really like Herbie and how it had a mind of it's own.

I've had me a Disney Day!

Fantasia

Well what can I say? C'est un masterpiece!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

I always underrate this and usually if i ever have to rank the classics this always comes near the bottom and I'm not sure why I do that, because this is a classic! Perhaps like the package features I rank them lowly because dispite the fact they are good, the don't hold together as well as a film.

Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier :|

Well I already had the Treasures set, but I wanted to see how it was edited together as a film. Unfortunately I think the TV series workd better as i thought too much was missing and it still felt very segmented.

Blackbeard's Ghost

One of Disney's best live action comedies, this one actually makes you laugh!

The Aristocats

I hadn't watched this for quite a while, because for some reason I had it in my head that the animation was bad and really scratchy. Probably because I've heard you yack on about it before.

Well was I surprised. I though the animation was brilliant! I don't think it was distracting at all, and would say it's no different from The Jungle Book or 101 Dalmatians! This film has definitely gone way up in my estimations. very strong plot and characters. Definitley underrated I'd say! I command evryone go give it a watch!

I just watched The Lion King then straight after The Lion King 3 since i wanted to see what it was like watching them together and it worked really well. I really do think alot went into making TLK3 including the animation and just how the whole thing was put together. :D

Hardly anyone has it on DVD. It's very rare.
