Sorry to disappoint but it won't be sparkly or shiny like the Japanese one. It'll just be cardboard. It seems a bit dull and boring to have a slipcase thats exactly the same as the DVD inside it. That's why the Japanese one is so trendy.

Oh and Target are notorious at being late with new release stuff. EzyDVD have told me it will definately be in with them today (Tuesday). Woo hoo!

The Target near me is great with getting new dvd's.. Never late..
They always get new toys in before the other stores too!!

I definitely be going down there tonight; as they put the stock out early sometimes.. They did it with prison Break and few others..

Can't wait to get this dvd!!
Also got to get Over the Hedge for my girl as she's bugging me for that one too!!

Well-spotted, shannyn6.

Believe it or not, I haven't bought mine yet. My US edition shipped last week, but I haven't made it out to the shops this week. I'll go tomorrow as a few other DVDs (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Carnivale) are also coming out, and I have a JB Hi-Fi voucher. :)

I must say I'm greatly disappointed with the LM & LM2 boxset!!!

It's not a boxset!!
It's one dvd with 3 discs inside!!
I was hoping for a real boxset not a crappy 3 disc single edition..

The highlight of watching the Little Mermaid II
was that they left the old American Trailers on there from when it
originally came out in the end of 1999.

So it says to get Fantasia 2000, Tarzan & Lady And The Tramp II.

Well, I would have bought Fantasia,
if we were back in 2000 when it was about to come out.

Not that I care, I have 4 versions of both Fantasias already.

But it'd get peoples hopes up seeing the trailers.

Rest assured I was on the internet within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world.

There's other trailers the Australian version doesn't have like Peter Pan 2 Disc Edition, Tinkerbell and Cinderella 3 but that's probably because they haven't finalised when we will be getting them yet. That always happens with these releases.

Hi,
I'm from Germany and because Europe gets this PE not until November, the australian DVD has Code4 and Code2 (which is important for me) and is a 2-Disc-Edition, I've ordered the australian Edition. Now I've seen the cover and I want to know whether the "rating-thing" on the cover is imprinted or just a label. Please tell me it's just a label, because it's soooo big and crude!

Yep, it is printed on the cover.

That's the OFLC's way of dumbing down our ratings system.

Ok, I just received my copy of TLM from EzyDVD (orderered it preorder months ago) and have to say i am very underwhelmed with the contents of the dvd (regarding booklets, etc).

ALL i recieved was a crappy TLM toy advertisment and thats it. From the UltimateDisney review I picked up that: "As is normal for a Platinum Edition, there is much to behold inside the case, most of which is advertising..."

Now I dunno if we've been seriously deprived in Australia or if I've recieved a Dud, but can someone confirm whether any of the stuff mentioned in the review (i.e. DVD Guide, DVD Insider, etc) is actually meant to be in my copy?

Thanks all

Unfortunately, Yes, we have been deprived in Australia, not only in dvd guides, insiders, slipcovers, etc. all those minimal extensions, but also in contents, often we have missing extras and bonus material on the actual DVD. However, we do have a chapter insert, because Australian DVD cases are clear, so we are able to read the chapter selection.

Does Anyone know when Australia will recieve Greys Anatomy: Season 2, we have 4 more episodes to go in Australia and I don't want to start watching Season 2 so late (I only watched Season 1 a week ago)
