I found final fantasy 9 at my local Gamestation for just £9.99 today (so happy :D), so I've decided on a Final Fantasy themed avatar! (even if it is 10 and not 9)

Trivia for Wicked Stepmother (1989)

The last film starring Bette Davis.

According to Ms. Davis, she was so disgusted by the script that she demanded it be rewritten, and left when the filmmakers refused. The script was then reshaped to explain her absence. Larry Cohen says Davis had to leave for New York for medical reasons and that she later claimed she left because of the script because she was worried she wouldn't be able to get another job if people thought she was in too bad health.

Well we all know Bambi. We all know GP. But there is one prince that we take for granted and I feel that he deserves some reconition because he was a critical character in the movie. Yeah he's a jerk but can you blame him for wanting some love. You all know who I'm talking about. The Big... Bad... Ronno!!!

Mine is now a shot of the exterior walls of the Great Hall. I have no idea what those words on there say though. All I can read are: "so beautiful..."

I should of changed my Thanksgiving avatar ages ago. I did that just a few minutes ago with this. It's Mickey Mouse wearing a santa hat. It's simple but cute. That's why I chose it. :)

Hi

Post by Disney Guru »

My new avatar is of Bette Davis from the 1964, Bette Davis Classic. Dead Ringer.

[img]http://bettedavisdvd.co.uk/images/deadringer1[1].jpg[/img]

MOVIE SYPNOPSIS

Broke Edith murders and assumes the identity of her recently widowed, well-to-do twin sister Margaret, who had married Edith's former flame 20 years before. Can she fool the servants and the authorities and keep her new-found wealth?

Complete credited cast:

Bette Davis .... Margaret DeLorca/Edith Phillips
Karl Malden .... Sergeant Jim Hobbson
Peter Lawford .... Tony Collins
Philip Carey .... Sergeant Hoag
Jean Hagen .... Dede Marshall
George Macready .... Paul Harrison
Estelle Winwood .... Dona Anna
George Chandler .... George
Mario Alcalde .... Garcia
Cyril Delevanti .... Henry
Monika Henreid .... Janet
Bert Remsen .... Dan

Trivia

Lana Turner turned the film down because she didn't want to play twins.
Robert Aldrich was a candidate for directing.

The original script was written in 1944 and sat on the shelf at Warner Brothers until 1963 when at long last it was finally in production.

Bette Davis originally wanted new actor' James Philbrook' of "The New Loretta Young Show" (1962) to play the Karl Malden role.

As Karl Malden's police sergeant character leaves his desk, he calls for a colleague named "Sekulovich" to toss him his hat.

Malden's birth name is, in fact, Sekulovich.
