I noticed a pattern with posters for recent live-action Disney films where the villain is placed at the bottom.

That's really curious. Now that you've told us about it, the posters for future movies will spoil who the surprise villains are for us.

Omg the shots in the clip of Ingrith and Aurora are breathtakingly beautiful. Very well shot with the light and shadows and placements. Am I the only one who thinks this film looks so beautifully directed? And the costumes and set of that clip are gorgeous.

The way they're suspended in mid-air like that looks a bit silly which takes away from the gravity of their conversation.

I love the use of light and shadow and how Ingrith's imposing figure slowly approaching Aurora reflects her cunning tactics and attempts to manipulate her. The Queen's costume is really well-crafted too and suits Pfeiffer perfectly.

I agree with both of you. The cinematography, set and costumes really stand out in that clip.

Yes, I love Pfeiffer's costume and the one we see of Maleficent's during the dinner scene where she meets Phillip's mother.

Don't they know that they are using Swan Lake? What is up with that?

Well it does kind of make sense when you realize that the music in the Sleeping Beauty film was adapted from the Tchaikovsky ballet and Tchaikovsky was the one who composed Swan Lake.

Yeah, I thought that was really weird too. Maybe they felt they've used Sleeping Beauty in the animated film and they've used The Nutcracker in Fantasia and in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms so might as well go with the one source they haven't used yet.

But Swan Lake makes no sense, so I think it was a bad choice on their part.

I think they went with Swan Lake because they already used Sleeping Beauty when promoting the first film.

B-roll footage from the film. It includes some spoilers. I love Aurora and Phillip's wedding attire!

I like Phillip's outfit but Aurora's is so bland (much like the character's depiction herself). Maybe I need to see a full view to think otherwise.

The Maleficent instagram story posted a picture on its story of Warwick Davis as the premiere with text saying he plays a character called Lickspittle. To my knowledge, this is the first time Warwick's involvement in the film had been publicly known. I'm guessing he's that character from the teaser with the eye patch, or the character Aurora is talking to in the B-roll footage, but they might be the same character.
