I agree with you on that one. It gave me a nostalgic feeling back.Wonderlicious wrote:The strange thing is that that commercial is probably the most enchanting and enticing promo for this film so far.RodryCroft wrote:Pantene & Tangled

Hi guys! Sorry if this is a little bit off-topic, but I don't know anyone to ask xD
I'm going to New York this month to see Tangled on it's release date (as you know, Nov. 24th), and my question is: Have I to buy my tickets before it or I can go the same 24th? I have never been in New York and neither of its movie theatres (logically). Do you think I have to buy it on internet or can I buy it the same 24th?
I'm going there to see the city, of course, but the principal reason is to see Tangled xD and if I don't see it I will have a heart attack if I have to wait to see it in Spain on February ¬¬ xDD
Again, sorry about the off-topic!! I'll wait someone's answer! =)

Oh sorry! That question was for me???Fairytales wrote:Wow, Rapunzel's hair is beautiful!
What was the preview for Tangled that you saw after Chuck actually?
Some days ago, I've posted a short video of a TV spot about a Tangled preview after Chuck, but I don't know if someone recorded it =S
Anyway, sure it was very similar to the ones we've seen! =(
Excited to be here!
Hi, I am new here. Found this forum by searching for Rapunzel and Tangled. I'm so excited about this movie coming out. Rapunzel has always been my favorite fairytale and I can remember drawing small princesses with super long hair even as far back as 3rd grade. Instead of writing in my journal in reading class I would draw a small princess and then fill the page with her hair. I love that they made Rapunzel an artist. More for me to relate to.
I also have very long hair (ankle length now, as a kid it was always very short but I dreamed of long hair so when I was old enough I let it grow) and people have called me Rapunzel many times even though my hair is dark. I am so excited about Disney finally making Rapunzel (ahem, Tangled). I've been reading this board for a while (and loving all of it), but only just got approved. I've had a lot to say! Sorry this might be long!
I wanted to mention something about the lyrics posted. I actually like the repetition of words because it clearly mimics the repetition in Rapunzel's life. She really is brushing and brushing and brushing and wondering and wondering and wondering. I think they decided to repeat those words to emphasize how monotonous Rapunzel's life has been. Any other words added wouldn't demonstrate how frustrated and tired of things she is.
Also, having very long hair myself, I know it must take Rapunzel forever to brush her 70 foot long locks. My hair is pin straight but it does tangle if I leave it down. It takes me a good amount of time to get tangles out. Forget about elaborate braids. I can easily braid my hair into one braid, but putting my hair into a French braid or something fancy just makes things into a huge tangled mess. I could do it myself when my hair was waist length, but now? No. I have to ask a friend to braid it if I want something fancy.
I also love that she becomes a brunette. But that is because I have brown hair. I've been wondering if her hair grows normally after it has been cut or if she will have short hair the rest of her life. I've been wanting a Disney princess with at least waist length long brown hair and hazel or green eyes.

I love that the commercial wants you to believe that if you use Pantene you'll get hair like Rapunzel.DisneyFan09 wrote:I agree with you on that one. I'm not entirely sure about New York and its cinemas, but I'll try. Just to be safe (especially since you'll most likely be going to a downtown cinema), I'd pre-book tickets online. You may be able to buy it on the day, but I think it'd be a safe move if you got it in advance if possible; just go on a chain's or a venue's website from there, and hopefully all should be okay.RodryCroft wrote:Hi guys! I think her hair is pretty as a brunette, But i just don't like the other thing that happens to it.. (just gonna leave that open, i don't want to spoil it for ya if you didn't already know it)
Because it kind of changes the plot.. ALOT.
