Me too, escpecially the Kiss The Girl cover in the Little Mermaid Platinum Edition .
And Jack Skellington-the begining is animated and the rest (maybe exept the ending) will be live action.

Thank you for the songs list!

People, just be happy that the legend that is Alan Menken is doing songs for this movie! I'm thrilled !

Also, Ariel's Prince, I don't think Giselle is making fun of the Princesses, and the movie is as well. They are paying homage to the Disney Classics, and not 'doing a Shrek'. :)

Also, where did you get the calender from? I would really love to get one!

Agreed,i also think that she is a homage and not a Shrek.
I think that Giselle will be my favorite Disney character and princess with Ariel :D.

By the way-do you like my avater? :D.

a pheasant who gets rescued by a prince and later ends up with a lawyer gets to be a disney princess but pocahontas who is a chief's daughter and considered as princess of a tribe only gets 2nd class princess citizenship just cause she's dressed in buckskin and not giggly and doesn't stick with one man?

hmmmmmmm

She wasn't rescued,a troll tried to eat her so she ran away and the prince killed him becouse he has a sword and she dosn't.
Pocahontas is a Disney Princes, she just get less attention becouse her movie was less sucssfull, she is a Disney Princess like the others.

but pocahontas has gained a steady following all these years..i guess its because she's so serious and mellow and no urban girl can relate to her spiritual principle and environmental preachiness...maybe she should join the disney faeries instead.

so much for being 'the playful one'.

I found it Ariel's Prince!

Here is the back view of the calender; I love the picture of Giselle in the middle!

It's also very cute that she goes shopping with the little girl. She is so sweet! :)

And yup, I love your avatar. You are really good at making them!

In the end, its all down to Disney. THEY decide who is the most popular, not us.

As I said before, I love Cinderella, but I'm so fed up of seeing her all the time, all over the place in Disney Stores etc. Jasmine / Mulan / Pocahontas / and Ariel to some extent become more precious to me, as their faces are not slapped on everything.

oh i forgot to mention, i was at the theaters last weekend.and they had a narissa standee with a TV in it.and they kept playing enchanted promo videos and lo and behold. the happy working song!

spoiler:
the song isnt as upbeat or catchy as whistle while u work, and wasnt lavishly orchestrated, it was more like the lemony cricket song with the happy elves.and robert's daughter woke up when she heard clanking in the kitchen and saw the animals spring cleaning.amy adams had a lovely voice.nothing like a modern princess vocal.

Yeah,that's it,and i love the picture too :D,i wish i had the calendar :D.
She's sweet :D (i think she's going to be my favorite Disney character with Ariel).
Thanks about the avater :D i wonder if keep it or change back to live action Giselle.
And i agree about Cinderella,Belle and the others everywhere, they should show more princess like Pocahontas,Jasmine and Snow White.
Akhenten-it's Lemony Snicket,not Crikcet .

Just some thoughts that cam into my head today:

The Nightmare Before Christmas will only be in theaters for 3 weeks (or at least, that's what the ad in the newspaper said). Unlike last year where it ran until Christmas itself. And Enchanted comes out in less than 5 weeks. So my theory is that Enchanted may be in Disney Digital 3-D. If so I would like to see just the live action stuff in 3-D and not the animated sections in order to create a better contrast (plus none of Disney's Animated fairy tales were in 3-D). Do you think it will happen? Only people who go see Nightmare in 3-D will be able to confirm this if there is a trailer shown.

I'm going to go see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D tomorrow night in Chicago. I can post on here if I see anything, if you'd like.

I'm guessing they will release a separate animated one? That makes sense.

akhenaten, what do you mean about Amy Adams voice? That she isnt like the other Princesses? Is that in a good or bad way ? If you don't mind me asking.

I think he means that her voice is classic like Snow White,Cinderella and Aurora rather then a morden voice like Ariel,Belle,Jasmine,Pocahontas and Mulan.
If there will be an animated one-i wish i had him :(.
Here the Simba Toys (from UK) Enchanted dolls:
Live action Giselle:

Animated Giselle:

I much prefere the animated one,the live action dosn't look like her at all (it reminds me of their Belle dolls-they made her with long hair and simple gold dress that dosn't look like the one the movie).
