I don't think the cover is so ugly.

that looks better ! i'm glad they added "edition" to the spine and switched jiminy with pinoccho. only things to pick at... geppetto's head is still cut off and pinocchio's hair should be black... not blue. i understand they are going for high lighting... but... the entire front of his hair is blue. even at it's darkest points.

cover looks great.

I just hope by March I have a blu-ray player. Pinocchio is one of the few Disney films that can really benefit from High Definition video.

I've pre-ordered the Pinocchio 2 disk platinum edition at Amazon.co.uk last week! Still have to wait a couple of months before I get it....

Ditto! I'd be satisfied if this were the final draft.

Even though I haven't bought a blu-ray player (and I still don't know if I plan to), I will probably get the blu-ray, just in case. I'd hate to end up switching to blu-ray and regretting not having Pinocchio.

I still say Pinocchio looks kind of off model on that cover, but it looks a little bit better seeing it at a higher resolution. And I'm also glad that Pinocchio is on the spine now.

The Blu-Ray, like Sleeping Duty, will come with a DVD, so even if you don't have a Blu-Ray yet, you can still enjoy it until you get one.

I can't wait for it, as it's one of my all-time favorites, alongside "Alice In Wonderland".

I wonder if the PE can come, if received by mail from Disney's store website, with some cels of the movie and character plush toys.

OMG! We are getting trailers again!?!?!?! I wish they had never left, but I'm so happy about the return.

The other features look great as well. I like hearing about the sweatbox, it sounds like it was probably terrifying.

Why no 1940 trailer, though? Surely they must have it in the Vault, right?

Something's screwy either with the BBFC or with Disney for including these to be classified again. They're featurettes for the 2002 Roberto Benigni film Pinocchio. So unless Disney is deciding to issue the extras from that film with Pinocchio: Platinum Edition to pad it out or cross-promote...
