Hmm... I bet the reason it's coming out in the fall is to remind the public of Disney's "boy" movies in time for the release of Tangled... Interesting...

This probably isn't much, but I found it in a French forum that a friend of mine linked me to. Now, I am still hoping to see the deleted scenes.
Why the heck is Taran not holding the sword?

^ Agreed it should be the sword, but the cover is still quite good and that makes me somewhat happy.

But not calling it a 25th Anniversary Edition? What a waste.

^^^I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but when I bought AIW, this was in one of the rewards booklets, along with Beauty and the Beast and The Great Mouse Detective.

I don't think so, but I'm assuming that advertisement only came with Canadian sets? Here's to hoping they won't forget the US again like they did with Dumbo.

I'm buying. But I wish it were BLU.
15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.

Holy shit they actually gave Black Cauldron an awesome cover, even better than most platinum and diamond ones.

Taran's design on that cover looks how Eric from The Little Mermaid could've looked as a boy.

I hope the USA re-release gets that cover art. I don't have this movie in my DVD collection but I want it so I may get the re-release.

The cover looks good but they still need to fix Eilonwy's face which is horribly off-model and tweak a bit Taran's design.

As for the "Ultimate Quest Edition" instead of an anniversary banner...

So, are we getting this on June 2010 or Fall 2010?? I'm still confused about the release date.

I don't think it's off model all that much. She actually looks ten times cuter there.

Its a bit off-model. Of course, Disney Heroines have a funny history with cover-art.

Wow I'm suprised by how much I like the cover art! I hope this gets a Region 2 release as depending on the content I may just have to double dip on The Black Cauldron!
I love The Little Mermaid and Ariel

Well, I don't see The Black Cauldron getting a BD release any time soon. It would really be an odd-ball choice for a BD release in the near future if they did. Alice is rumored to be getting a BD release next year so until it's confirmed or denyed I'm holding out on the new release. The Black Cauldron on the other hand I'm probably going to pick up since we know what the chances of it getting a BD release soon is.

I'm just hoping that it's more than a deleted scene, and more like deleted scenes. But I can dream, can't I? :P
